00:00Hi everyone, so I started basically doing dubbing on Fiverr and I've been contacted by a Chinese client that wanted me to gather a team to make dubbing for the short series, the verticals.
00:17So for that, I just managed to gather like 30 people, we worked remotely, and we just dubbed two series for Stardust TV and one for NetShort too.
00:32So we just started like one month ago, something like that, and basically we make sure everything is alright on the translation, the synchronization of the lip sync, and of course that the acting is good as well and the audio quality is good too.
00:53Yeah, it works very well. In fact, on Stardust TV, the first series was Pratiques Fatales Qu'aux Martiales. People just liked it. The French version was awaited by people that just watched it subtitled for the French part.
01:12And I saw comments from people on Facebook that they wanted a French version, and I've been contacted after that. So that's because there is a demand from the French people to have this dubbed and understandable for them, because some people just don't like to have subtitles that they wanted in French or in the local language.
01:35Yeah, I think it's going to be also a real question like, do we want just subtitles or do we want dubbing? And I think it depends on the countries, depends on the culture.
01:44I know that in some countries, I know in France, we really like to hear French, but I know in other Nordic countries, for instance, they are okay with subtitles. So I think it also depends on the countries.
01:58Do you notice that you have more demand from a certain country than others?
02:03For the moment, I only have demand from a Chinese client, but I also work on another team before that with a Venezuelan client on Fiverr.
02:19He had his own French team, and now I have my own, and I worked for him since September 2024.
02:29And he just, he's doing localization in Spanish, Portuguese, French, and I don't remember other languages.
02:42So there is a lot of demand from the Chinese part for dubbing in other languages they want to extend.
