00:05Inquiry panel. I think a fair few of you have seen that by now. And somebody commented underneath
00:13Donna's been dropped from Reform, she's been dropped from GBPAC, or has left GBPAC,
00:19and now has been dropped from the panel. Clearly the common denominator here is Donna.
00:24And I thought that was an interesting point. Why do I keep getting thrown out of political movements?
00:29And the answer is because I actually want the political movement to do what they say they're
00:34doing, not just make a big noise about it. So I think we all know by now that reform are probably
00:41not going to actually do anything meaningful in government because they don't have the policies
00:45in place. And I wasn't willing to work with a party who would say the right thing for votes and then
00:51let everyone down. GBPAC is slightly different. I think that the people who are involved in that
00:58movement are good people. I think they genuinely do want to do something useful. But where I am
01:05personally is that letter writing and petitions I'm passed, you know, I don't think it makes a
01:11difference. If they want to do that, that's absolutely fine by me and good luck to them.
01:15And I hope it works. But it's just not something that I personally felt that I wanted to give my time
01:19to. I actually want our politicians to be honest with us and to come straight out and say there is
01:25nothing we can do. And this is what the real issue is. And then let's start to fix it. Now,
01:30while they're not doing that, I will call them out. I'll say, hey, you're not doing it properly. You
01:35know, hey, rope gang inquiry, maybe you should be safeguarding the survivors you talk to. Maybe you
01:40should be making sure that they have a support system in place. Maybe you shouldn't just be picking
01:44up an iPhone and making videos with them because that's re triggering. And I don't think that's too much
01:50to ask. I mean, don't we all want our politicians to do better? Don't we all want them to be honest?
