00:13They've said that Pakistani men are over-represented in the perpetrators of grooming gangs and
00:21that in many cases they have targeted white working class girls because of their ethnicity
00:28and because they view them as worthless.
00:30We can't be blind to that.
00:32And when there are girls, vulnerable girls, who are being subjected to the most evil forms
00:37of torture and rape, I'm not going to tiptoe around this issue.
00:41I'm not going to disguise my language so that some people are not offended.
00:45That's what got us into this mess in the first place.
00:48We've got to be honest about what is happening here.
00:51That is how we can move forward and try to ensure that we eradicate this problem.
