00:00So we recently visited the Tenants' Factory and this area is the Tenants' Visitor Centre
00:05which is open to the public daily. So it holds a bar inside which is usually hosting people
00:10who have just come off the tour. The Tenants' Tour has recently been ranked the second most
00:14popular tourist attraction in Glasgow on TripAdvisor just under Kelvin Grove. It's particularly
00:20popular with tourists though I found there was a lot of interesting information I didn't know
00:25about the brand and how it has really shaped Glasgow as a city. They say Glasgow was built
00:31around the Tenants' Factory. It is the second most popular drink in Scotland just under Iron Brew.
00:36In the bar here you can try an unpasteurised pint of Tenants or Tank Tenants as it's also known.
00:42This is where the first time it's exposed to air is when it is poured into the glass.
00:47This creates a more brewery taste. There are only a few locations in Glasgow that do this. Tenants
00:53also make a range of drinks such as Stout and Ale exclusively for export which means that
00:59with the exception of this bar they are available nowhere else in the UK. It's very cool. So the
01:05Visitor Centre is a shop and a little museum. You can see the earliest bottle of Tenants' beer known to
01:11being in existence. You can learn all about the Tenants' family tree and how the brand and product
01:16evolved in reflection to this. You will learn that Tenants actually invented the beer can
01:23the first of which is on display. You will learn how women kept the brewery afloat during the wars
01:29and the brand's connection to Buffalo Bill. It's very interesting. I highly recommend if
01:35you're down that way to give it a visit, even if you aren't partaking in the tour.
