00:00the instructions this week for uh three up three down were the week not just that for cock to game
00:06where the patriots starters played a series or two the vikings played nobody you can factor
00:14that game in but it's as much the joint practices and the practices that you'll let this week so
00:18it's three up three down from the past week go greg first star trevion henderson whether it's
00:24practice game whatever uh he just shows out and he's a he's a special talent he is a playmaker
00:31the patriots are going to use him in a variety of different ways get him you know somewhere 10 to
00:3715 touches a game depending on how the game goes um in a variety of ways i i he's he's something else
00:44trevion henderson easy one number two uh milton williams i thought he had a a pretty good week
00:51i thought he did uh pretty well in in the vikings joint practices now he to go to the next level to
00:56be worth what they are paying him he needs to develop some pass rush moves he's pretty much
01:02just a power rusher and you're not going to get away with that when you're going up against the
01:07starters in this league epton chisholm i think i'm a believer i i think the kid can play now i'm worried
01:14about his durability i think if he gets hit but it looks to me like he can avoid tackles he knows how
01:20to protect himself a little bit he can get open he's got good hands he's shifty like there's a lot
01:25to like there he's been good number three star so i'm not going to name epton chisholm because uh
01:30and and maz is right i mean i think his play strength is great um i haven't seen him do it against
01:36starters uh you know it's been nice and i do think he's a good player and he's an nfl player he'll be on
01:41this roster and i think he'll be a player in this league for for a while um but i haven't really seen
01:47yet i i went with harold landry he just he just keeps showing up he has he's this vet where you
01:54know milton williams has one pass rush move harold landry has a bunch he he corners well he gets low to
02:01the ground he's a tough matchup for tackles in this league the taller tackles and uh i've been
02:07impressed with him i went with matt collins better than i thought he's got pretty good hands he's you
02:12know he's obviously a big target he can catch the ball between the hashes like i think he's a you
02:18know he's a capable player three down uh garrett bradbury the center i thought he was terrible in
02:24the game i did not think he had good joint practices against the vikings um to me that is a a real issue
02:31i thought that the patriots might uh reintroduce a competition they did today ben brown mixed in
02:38pretty much every drive with the starters he would come in about the third play play a snap at left
02:44guard then he'd move over to center jared wilson would come back into left guard so i think both of
02:50those spots are an open competition and i would be open to ben brown being the opening day starter at
02:56center because i think he he's really good in pass protection he he had one of the uh best um pass
03:02protection rates in the league last year at center and um i think he's a pretty good player
03:08drake dismay is what i would go with so look i just i'm not telling you he's going to suck forever
03:15i'm just telling you that this game on saturday he was he wasn't good enough and they that has to
03:21change if they're going to get to where they need to go the pass game's got to get better and it starts
03:24with him number two down greg uh number two down uh marcus jones i think he's been picked on a bit
03:32in the slot due to his size i thought he had a really tough time in that second joint practice
03:37against the vikings they matched up jordan addison against him uh a lot and there's just you know
03:43the size mismatch it's it's tough and so um yeah i think i think slot cornerback could be a little
03:50bit of an issue for them this year if we're talking about trends jared wilson he looked like he was one
03:56of the best biggest surprises in camp and all of a sudden he's getting squeezed out of left guard and
04:00he's not even playing with the with the starters anymore so i want to know what happened there it
04:05looked like there was a lot of promise maybe he ends up back there but right now i'd say he slipped
04:09three i was gonna i'm trying to think of another name because i the name i have down is one of those
04:14that you guys play the the sound of the jameel douglas and conor mcdermott guy never heard of
04:20dan skipper demantre jacobs the right that's okay i've heard of him yeah he's oh he blows he does
04:27he blows he's off it's been bad this year bad and he started games for you last year wow that's
04:35number three i remember the uh the kicker they drafted andres aurora borigales that's what i'm
04:41going with that 57 but what was that 57 yards oh yeah 53 yards well it was for him it was 70 yards
04:47it was just when you factor in the the hook yeah he took the hypotenuse that's what he did wow what a
04:53horrible kick i i will say i thought the uh i thought the operation was i blame the operation
04:59on that kick how did you mention right yeah julian ashby their drafted long snapper uh had a high
05:04snap on the i think it was an extra point and then on the 57 yard field goal it was a high snap when's
05:10the last time a high snapper got drafted across the league uh i'm not even sure it might be cardona
05:15it doesn't happen every year right no no it never happens so you haul off and draft one and he's
05:21already and he sucks yeah all right and you don't need any other positions you know i promise call
05:28so i'll take a couple here tim and welsey uh lead us off today tim thanks for holding on what do you
05:32got no problem so um greg we're playing the giants here on thursday and considering where the patriots
05:39have drafted the last two years would you rather have malik neighbors and jackson dart or drake may
05:45and will that's a great one i got a series of these for 10 questions coming up but that's a good one
05:51right there dart and neighbors or may and campbell um i'm not a jackson dart fan me neither um so
06:00i would go with may and campbell i think jackson dart blows seriously i think he's okay hold that
06:06thought okay because like i said we're going to circle back to that with something adjacent to that
06:10alan plymouth first go ahead al hey guys uh one of the things i noticed about drake may that i don't
06:15like is that he doesn't seem athletic on the way he drops back to pass or delivers a pass and when i
06:23noticed that the most was on saturday when i was watching the game i got up at the end of the first
06:27quarter i think it was i came back to the tv saw the next play that they ran and it was smooth it was
06:34like i said to myself now that's really good that's a smooth play i don't know if it was a play action or
06:40whatever and it ends up it wasn't even him it was the backup and i said wow wow al you're not the
06:46only one to say this here we go let me quote another one from greg bedard that i would aptly say
06:52is a whopper this is the true bedard bomb you ready greg wrote today in our email i continue to be
07:01impressed with ben woolridge he has a throw a game and the out to baker was the minnesota example
07:10he has a he has one throw a game that makes me sit up in my chair maybe there's something there
07:17i'll say this and we'll probably take heat for it writes greg
07:21woolridge's throwing motion is way better and efficient than may's i wish i could give it to may
07:29he'd be unstoppable you think woolridge has a better and more efficient throwing motion than drake may
07:35no question it looks like he's been he's been schooled now he doesn't have nearly the arm strength
07:40that drake may does but like it's just his throwing motion is really nice it's compact like drake may's
07:46throwing motion drives me up a wall i always has the hitch he still has a little yeah and the thing is
07:51is like it's elongated like he'll have these little little throws like the one to pop douglas that he
07:57missed like it's not even that far and he's so strong like all he has to do is flick his wrist
08:02and hit him instead he's got to drop the ball down and come over the top like you know hopefully
08:09at some point he ends up tightening up josh allen used to be like that but he's become like an um an
08:15expert he's been maniacal about his throwing motion like every offseason i'm hoping drake may gets to
08:21that point but and drake you notice this uh and i've come to learn it from watching him over the last
08:27year is the more he's thinking the more deliberate and slow his motion is so when when he's cooking
08:35when you don't see the hitch it's he's he's decisive he sees it he lets it go when he doesn't he starts
08:41going like i don't know like he slows it down a little bit so but yeah drake may's motion like
