00:00Greg, what's your overall temperature on the team following that win over Cleveland?

00:04Good.

00:05I mean, you know, look, they are getting what's amazing,

00:09especially when it comes to Drake May,

00:11like they're getting highly efficient quarterback play

00:13and they're getting explosive plays.

00:16Usually one or two running, a few passing,

00:21and for him to play at an efficient level and be able to do that,

00:26the Patriots are going to be tough to beat.

00:27Now, I will say Sunday against the Browns, I would not,

00:31and I do consider, I'm not an idiot,

00:34I do consider Drake May a legitimate MVP candidate,

00:37you know, top five, top three, you know, what have you.

00:40But he's there and I expect him to be there at the end of the season

00:44because I see no reason why he shouldn't continue to play at a high level.

00:49But I would not put Sunday's game on his resume, MVP resume.

00:55I did not, I thought that, and look, some of this had to do with the Browns,

00:59but I thought he, you know, struggled a little bit at times in the first half.

01:05He was involved with some of the pressure.

01:08I think a lot of it is still, this is part of a young athletic quarterback

01:13figuring things out.

01:15And this is very similar to when I covered Aaron Rodgers,

01:18when he took over from Favre, for Favre 08, 09.

01:22I remember having a lot of conversations with Aaron about, you know,

01:26at that point in his career, Favre didn't really run anymore.

01:30So, and we've heard Brady talk about it, where it's like Brady doesn't,

01:34didn't have to consider the things that like a guy like Drake May has to do

01:38in terms of, do I run?

01:40When do I run?

01:40How long do I, you know, hang in the pocket?

01:43Where pocket quarterbacks, they, that's where they're going to have to be.

01:47So, you know, there were some issues, like even on the first sack,

01:52on the first, the sack that ended the first drive, you know,

01:55Miles Garrett gets by, you know, Hunter Henry, Will Campbell,

01:59too much space between them.

02:00But if you look at it, the ball was on the eight-yard line.

02:04May is sacked on the 18-yard line.

02:06Ten yards behind center, that's a little far.

02:11And, you know, maybe if he was up a few more feet

02:14and Hunter Henry was coming open in the middle of the field,

02:16if he's up, you know, a yard or two, perhaps, you know,

02:22they convert that, that's a touchdown.

02:24Or I do think that he could have possibly scrambled out to the right.

02:29So there were some of those plays in the first half.

02:32I thought he was very efficient in the second half.

02:35But, I mean, you look at it, it was 9-7.

02:37Now, props to Drake May for, and I thought the theme from the game was

02:43the pressure he was under, Miles Garrett, all that stuff.

02:47It never bothered him.

02:49That's insane.
