A day at the Monmouthshire Show! From mini ponies, dog shows, falconry and scurries to alpacas, vintage cars, live music, food stalls and even a bubble man- there was something for everyone!  Such a fun summer event in Wales! 🌞

00:00Hi, it's Grace and I'm here today at Mommashire Show and there is plenty of

00:04activities to food and refreshments. There's lots of seating areas so it's

00:09perfect for a family day out and it's even better because look at the weather

00:13out here, it's so nice. So I'm gonna bring you along so you can gain an

00:16insight into what it's like at Mommashire Show. There was so much happening all day

00:21but one of the things we went to was a mini pony show. Then we caught the Black

00:25Mountains falconry display. The birds were incredible to watch up close. The dog

00:32show was really funny and really cute because it's to see how many tail wags a

00:36dog can do. I even spoke with a few people at the show too and everyone seemed to

00:41be enjoying it. Hi, I'm Alison and my husband Andy. We're here today enjoying Mommashire Show.

00:48We're very lucky with the weather and we're enjoying watching the horses at the

00:56moment and I'm looking forward to seeing the scurry racing. Also, a friend of ours

01:04plays in the Mommash band so we're really looking forward to going across to hear her band.

01:11The corner had something different and there were so many rows of stalls. The Dinosaur

01:16Wildlife and Education Centre was also there doing a tropical encounter show and there

01:22were so many vintage cars and horses and even alpacas. Hi, my name is Julie. I live in

01:34Newport and I've been coming in to the Mommashire Show for the last three or four

01:41years. Initially, I started coming here because my sister, she's in the rock choir and she usually

01:48sings but she's not here today because they're in Edinburgh for the Edinburgh Festival and it's a

01:54fantastic day out. I love the craft stalls. I love all the clothes and the bags and all the honey and all

02:03the different crafts. It's a wonderful day out. Bubble Man was also there and it had a great atmosphere.

02:09And there was live music on all day which added great entertainment.

02:15And of course, there were plenty of food and refreshment stalls. We also watched the scurries

02:20as well. Mommashire Show had a bit of everything. Animals, shows, food and fun for all ages. Definitely

02:27one to add to the calendar next year. And to top it off, I tried these cookies and they were so nice.
