00:00Lisey, tell me, where do you see some value in the Offensive Player of the Year market?
00:04Well, I'm going to go back to a usual suspect, Derrick Henry at 14 to 1.
00:09I mean, come on, 1,956 yards.
00:11He had 16 rushing touchdowns.
00:13If we're talking about team success and we talk about Lamar Jackson and the passing attack,
00:18we know that they want to run the football with Derrick Henry.
00:21If they could get him involved in the receiving game a little bit more,
00:25I mean, it could be potentially a 2,000-yard rusher,
00:27similar to what we saw out of Saquon Barkley.
00:30And if they have a run at the playoffs, I think he'll be there.
00:33The other running back that I think I'll go to is B. John Robinson.
00:37We talk about team success for Atlanta.
00:39Now, can Atlanta be an 11-, 12-, 13-win football team with Michael Pinnocks?
00:44That remains to be seen.
00:46But if they rely on the rushing attack with B. John Robinson, 1,400 yards,
00:50he had 61 receptions last year, Kev.
00:53I mean, if they could utilize him like that,
00:55and he puts up 1,700 yards on the ground and maybe duplicates, let's say, 2,500 yards combined,
01:01I mean, that's a dynamic effort.
01:03A 16-to-1 is great value.
01:05The thing for me is I am starting to feel like I don't need to go too far to find value.
01:15Occasionally, right?
01:16If you just think the wrong guy is favored, that opens a window of opportunity.
01:22And I mentioned the last six to win it all, different players, right?
01:26So not anybody winning it for a second time in that window, but nobody's gone back-to-back.
01:30It's very, very hard to imagine.
01:33Now, you could use that to make a case against Jamar Chase,
01:37in that Chase had such a good case last year.
01:40Saquon runs for 2,000.
01:42Jamar Chase went for a triple crown.
01:43But Jamar Chase didn't win it last year and is still set up in such an incredible position
01:51with the Cincinnati Bengals.
01:53And I went into something.
01:56Last year, T. Higgins, Joe, missed five full games.
01:59And I thought, was that the difference maker in Chase's big season?
02:04And here's the incredible thing as I went through those five games.
02:06His receiving totals in four of those games, 35, 43, 54, 62.
02:15Four of his worst games came without T. Higgins.
02:20Now, he had a 264-yard game on a Thursday night with T. out of the lineup.
02:25And I don't think that happens with T. around.
02:27But it gives you an idea that Chase actually, with T there, was playing incredible
02:34and averaging over 100 yards per game.
02:37Chase, to me, is he 100% going to win it, Joe?
02:41I don't know if I'm there yet.
02:42He should be the favorite in this market.
02:44He should.
02:45And we talked about Tyreek Hill a couple of years ago when he was on pace for potentially 2,000 yards.
02:51He could be offensive player of the year as well, right?
02:53And he was the frontrunner for the award, right, up until, like, what, week 13, 14?
02:57And then he fell off a cliff.
02:59But I agree with you.
03:01I mean, Jamar Chase can put up dynamic numbers this year, can lead the league in the NFL
03:05in receiving yards and touchdowns and even potentially receptions.
03:09So I don't have a problem betting him at 9-1.
03:12But then let's take that assessment of Jamar Chase and let's put it for deep shots.
03:19Can you make – and I agree with you.
03:20The reason why, when we talk about just success from a wide receiver,
03:25you want to have a complementary piece, a number two, right, to take the double teams away
03:30so that way you can get open.
03:31Well, Brian Thomas now has Travis Hunter at 35-1.
03:35That's not a bad shot.
03:37That's something that I would buy into.
03:40Now, can he challenge for 2,000 yards?
03:42Probably not.
03:44But if he overachieves in terms of that, yeah.
03:47How about A.J. Brown, 40-1?
03:49I think it's going to – you could sell me on Thomas more than A.J.
03:53I'm just saying, but I'm just saying value.
03:55But let me say this with Thomas.
03:57Basically, last five or so weeks of the season, only Chase outperformed Brian Thomas Jr.
04:02And that was without Trevor Lawrence.
04:04Right.
04:04For the record.
04:05Now, it is important to know team success is a part of this award.
04:10You are not going – it's why – I can tell, by the way, you know, ear-to-the-ground style,
04:14learn from Lisey.
04:15A lot of people in the Minnesota Vikings are still real good, not me.
04:19I think Justin Jefferson, as long as the hamstring holds up, is going to have a huge year.
04:23I'm not worried about – J.J.
04:25McCarthy can get the ball.
04:25I can get the ball.
04:26Lisey can get Justin Jefferson the ball.
04:28All right?
04:29I don't think Minnesota has enough team success.
04:32I agree with you.
04:33So, that is a big part of figuring this out.
04:36Like, Nico Collins' name is up there.
04:38Nico with no tank down, no Stephon Diggs.
04:41Nico going to have a great year.
04:42That Houston offensive line, I don't know if Houston is good enough overall, right?
04:48And that then becomes tricky to – CeeDee Lamb, another one.
04:52Team success is going to matter here.
04:53Yep.
05:05Thanks.
