00:00A three-game sweep for the Los Angeles Dodgers over the San Diego Padres.
00:043-2 on Friday night, 6-0 on Saturday, and a 5-4 victory yesterday.
00:08We saw the Dodgers get out to a 4-0 lead.
00:10Then all of a sudden, the Padres tie that up late in the game,
00:13and then the Dodgers prevail with a one-run victory.
00:15They now sit two games back in first place, almost like, hold on.
00:19We're in second place?
00:20Yeah, let's make this right.
00:21And they did versus the Padres.
00:24Yeah, and it starts with, well, the starters, right?
00:27I mean, Kershaw, Snell, and Glasnow, I think, combined to give up, what,
00:33three runs, 17 innings in their starts against the Padres.
00:37But also, the Dodgers finally got some contributions from other guys
00:42that have been MIA, Teoscar Hernandez.
00:44Remember him?
00:45He still plays with the Dodgers.
00:47But apparently, we finally got something from him, Conforto.
00:51We got some, you know, other guys stepped up in this series
00:54when it mattered most.
00:55That is great.
00:56But to me, it started with the starters.
00:59Those three guys set the tone for the rest of that series there on how it went,
01:03and they're going to need more of that moving forward.
