00:00And the Dodgers lead in the National League West is back to three as well.

00:07The Dodgers winning yesterday in game two against San Diego, four to three.

00:19The Dodgers have a chance now to clinch the National League West with one more victory

00:24in the rubber match today against San Diego.

00:26That would be the 11th divisional crown in the NL West for the Dodgers in the last 12

00:30MLB years.

00:31Yeah, the Dodgers are going to win the NL West because when you look out on the horizon,

00:34we just talk about teams like the Atlanta Braves, like, hey, now you might be really

00:37getting a fight over those final three games from Kansas City, not getting any fight going

00:41to Colorado against a dead Rockies team.

00:43They'll pick up a victory there.

00:44But the interesting part is the Philadelphia Phillies do hold the tiebreaker over the Los

00:48Angeles Dodgers.

00:49So if those two teams end the season in a tie, which technically right now a half game

00:54up the Dodgers because they're going to play today where the Phillies aren't.

00:57If they win this game, it turns into a full game, which gives them a little bit of breathing

01:00room.

01:01They lose this game.

01:02Then you have three, a final three game set where the Phillies would be heavily favored

01:05in their series.

01:06Same thing with the Los Angeles Dodgers.

01:08But if both of those teams tie at the end of the season, the Phillies get the one seed,

01:11the Dodgers get the two.

01:12If the Dodgers hold them up, obviously they'll get that one seed and the Phillies the two

01:15seed.

01:16So a lot to play for here at the top of the standings.

01:17And also I was talking about this, Ben, being locked into playoff mode.

01:21You're basically having the Dodgers and the Phillies to play the final three games for

01:25the meaningless of that one seed.

01:26And I think it helps both ball clubs because they'll be off.

01:29The Phillies don't play to October 5th.

01:31Once the season ends.

01:32I like the fact they might have to play all the way through the weekend then.
