00:18White-wing candidate Rodrigo Paso of the Christian Democrat Party was in the lead with 32.08% of the votes, that is 1,546,892 votes.
00:28In second place was the candidate of the Liberty Democracy Alliance, Jorge Tuto Quiroga, with 26.94% of the votes.
00:36Both candidates will go to the second round on October 19th.
00:39Supreme Electoral Tribunal President Oscar Jacen Teufel said the award pledge was kept and the preliminary results attest to it.
