CHED, Innotech sign agreement on education innovation, research projects

The Commission on Higher Education and the Innotech Centre sign a memorandum of understanding on Aug. 13, 2025 that will enable them to partner on education innovation and joint research projects, particularly on the use of artificial intelligence and expertise sharing on innovative practices, among others. CHEd Chairman Shirley Agrupis, Commissioner Ethel Valenzuela, Innotech Centre Director Maja-Leah Ravago and Deputy Centre Director Kochakorn Khattapan-Acidre were at the event. In a subsequent interview, Agrupis said the upcoming Presidential Merit Scholarship program and its implementing rules and regulations were now being discussed by the education agencies of the government.
