Promoted teachers take oath

Some 2,900 teachers from Metro Manila who were promoted either through natural career progression or the expanded career progression program take their oath at the Makati Coliseum on Friday in the presence of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. Education Secretary Sonny Angara said that the promotion comes with a pay raise. One of the teachers, Eloisa Cruz of Eusebio High School in Pasig, thanked Marcos and Angara for her promotion from Teacher 1 to Teacher 3 after 10 years.
