00:00This is Paul Skeens, best pitcher on the card.
00:01Did you know, Joe, his last 45 days, 42 innings pitched,
00:05a 2.14 ERA and a 2.74 XFIP number.
00:08You got your work cut out for you tonight, Brewers.
00:10Is it enough to push them to another victory?
00:14Well, it could very well because at some point we all know
00:18that Pittsburgh bullpen is going to have to get involved.
00:20But instead, I am willing to bet that Skeens outduels
00:24Freddy Peralta in the first five.
00:28And I'd be willing to back Pittsburgh and lay a small number,
00:32what, minus 115, maybe somewhere in that ballpark there.
00:35And I think that Pittsburgh has a better shot.
00:39And by the way, Pittsburgh, since the All-Star break,
00:41has hit much, much better than people realize.
00:45Wasn't a great night last night, but this is a team that can now
00:49all of a sudden hit the long ball.
00:51And Freddy Peralta has struggled a little bit.
00:53He's solid, but he's not Paul Skeens.
00:56He's not shut down.
00:57So I think Pittsburgh has a pretty good opportunity
01:00to have the lead heading into the second half of this game,
01:04the sixth inning, because I don't trust the bullpen of Pittsburgh
01:07at all once they get involved.
01:09But I do think they can have the lead early on in this one
01:12heading into the sixth.
01:13And I think it's a good idea.
01:18So let's go ahead.
01:20But again, it's a great idea.
