00:10And for hundreds of years it has been developing around bazaars.
00:19Uzbekistan is a country with deep roots in trade, hospitality and tradition.
00:24And there is no better place to experience all of this than in its bazaars, the everyday heart of Uzbek life.
00:31This is Chosu Bazaar, one of the most iconic markets in Central Asia.
00:35It is huge with many sectors and consumers can find almost everything.
00:41Chosu Bazaar has been part of Tusker's life for centuries.
00:45This current bazaar is not just a place to shop. It's where stories are exchanged and where tradition continues every single day.

01:04A short drive away, Alay Bazaar offers a different side of city life.
01:09Alay feels different, quieter, more grounded. People aren't here to browse. They're here to buy.
01:16Bazaar is just connected to our local culture. For example, wherever you just see the Uzbeks, there is one bazaar.
01:27Also in Tusker, Mirabad Bazaar focuses on food. Real, local, everyday essentials.
01:34This market is famous for the different kinds of breads that are sold.
01:37Each shelf is hand-shaped, often stamped with traditional patterns, and built right here in Klerovans.
01:44Some are simple and soft, others crispy with layers of fat and onion, perfect for breakfast or bread with tea.
01:51This bazaar began operating informally back in the 19th century.
01:56In the 19th century, there was a hospital for wounded soldiers. Just spontaneously, a bazaar occurred in this area,
02:03where people sell fruit, vegetables and some sweets for people who were in the hospital for the visitors and for the wounded soldiers.
02:12From Tusker, we traveled southwest to Samarkand, one of the most historic cities in the region, once a vital stop on the Silk Road.
02:21Siyom Bazaar sits just a few minutes from some of Uzbekistan's most famous landmarks.
02:26But this market is still very much for locals.
02:31Here, tradition is something you can hold, smell and taste.
02:35And then, to the countryside, it's the Urgut market.
02:51Here, centuries-old traditions come to life, especially through the world-renowned Suzani carpets.
02:57Hand-embroidered by local artisans, each Suzani tells a story.
03:02Stitched with symbols of fertility, protection and heritage.
03:06Passed down through generations, these textiles aren't just decor, but they are actually living pieces of Uzbek culture.
03:14We now head west to Bukhara, one of Uzbekistan's most atmospheric cities.
03:19This is Toki Zargaron, old dome of jewelers.
03:23In the past, it was where Bukhara's wealth was kept and exchanged in the form of gold, gems and silver.
03:30This place was once the center of trade in Bukhara, and in many ways, it still is.
03:37And just a few steps away is Toki Tel Pak Furuson, or Dome of the Heart Cellars.
03:54If you pay attention above, it has some extraordinary geometric architectural system.
04:02This bazaar, we have natural air conditioning system, because of mastery of the Shaibani dynasty masters.
04:12And here is cool in summer and warm in winter.
04:19Here, traditional Uzbek headwear is still proudly made and sold.
04:24From the city centers to the countryside, Uzbekistan's bazaars reflect what matters most, connection, tradition and community.
04:46They are not just places to buy things, they are places to fill the culture face to face.
