Roketsan has unveiled its autonomous weapon system that integrates land and air vehicles, both manned and unmanned, for network-centric operations. 🚀
The Turkish defence manufacturer Roketsan has presented AGMOSS, a new autonomous weapon system that adds command and control capabilities to the KMC-U Tactical Missile Weapon System used by the Turkish Armed Forces (TAF). The innovation, revealed by CEO Murat Ikinci, enables network-centric operations and autonomous missions involving land and air assets, both manned and unmanned.
The KMC-U, known for its 360-degree rotation mobility and ability to launch IIR and laser-guided missiles with high precision, can now be controlled from a single command centre on the battlefield. The platform can carry up to 4 UMTAS/LUMTAS missiles or 8 Cirit missiles, or a combination of 2 UMTAS/LUMTAS and 4 Cirit.
