Tests of the BOZDOĞAN and GÖKDOĞAN missiles confirm the progress of Turkey’s defense industry in high-precision air-to-air systems.
Turkey has successfully completed a new round of tests for the BOZDOĞAN and GÖKDOĞAN air-to-air missiles, developed by TÜBİTAK SAGE under the GÖKTUĞ Project. The launches, conducted from Turkish Air Force F-16 fighters, were recorded on video and demonstrated the full functionality of the guidance and control systems.
The BOZDOĞAN, designed for within-visual-range (WVR) combat, showed superior maneuverability thanks to its thrust vector control system, as well as precise target tracking with its advanced infrared seeker head.
