00:00Well, here's another one that a lot of people are probably not picking.

00:02Your coach of the year in the NFL.

00:06I mean, Brad, you are on the island here.

00:08So if you hit this one, we'll make sure you get credit at the end of the year.

00:11This is a big long shot.

00:13Listen, I'm going with Pete Carroll.

00:15And when I look for coach of the year, I look for teams that absolutely stink,

00:20but made dramatic changes to provide that high upside.

00:23When people think about this Raiders team, they think about how bad they were,

00:26but they forget that they weren't terrible defensively.

00:29They're about middle of the pack defensively with an offense that couldn't sustain drives.

00:34And what does that mean?

00:35That's more labor, more time on the field for the defense,

00:39which generally makes your defense worse.

00:40Now they bring in Pete Carroll.

00:42Pete Carroll and his coaching career, 170, 120, and one as an NFL coach.

00:47He's only had one team where he's coached that's had a losing record.

00:51More so they bring in Chip Kelly from Ohio State,

00:54who just won a national championship

00:56and had one of the most impactful offenses in college football.

00:59They also add in Geno Smith and they get their bell cow running back in Ashton Jinty.

01:04This defense I talked about, which kind of had the middle of the packness,

01:09played a lot of games without Max Crosby.

01:11Max Crosby is now bought into this team, bought into Pete Carroll's philosophy here.

01:17And a lot of, you know, question marks about the offense were who would play wide receiver,

01:22who's catching balls.

01:23Let's not forget they have Brock Bowers.

01:25And Jacoby Myers is coming to this team as well.

01:28But I think it's all about Brock Bowers, Ashton Jinty, and Geno Smith for this offense.
