The Supreme Court on Monday directed civic bodies in Delhi and the NCR to swiftly catch, sterilise, and permanently relocate stray dogs to shelters. Stressing that the order be enforced without compromise, the court warned of action against any individual or group obstructing the process. The bench noted that urgent measures are essential to curb rising dog bite incidents and the spread of rabies.
