00:00Out in Oxnard, California, every single day, we are hearing news clippings here of Michael Parsons,
00:06what he's saying, but more importantly, what Jerry Jones is saying here. And here's Jane Slater of
00:10the NFL Network caught up with Jerry Jones. I bought the Dallas Cowboys with a handshake,
00:15took about 30 seconds, and I gave the numbers, shook hands. The details, we worked out later.
00:23As a matter of fact, one of the details involved a lot of money, and we had to flip a coin over
00:27that. But the fundamental I'm buying, and you're going to sell it to me for that range,
00:33that's done. And those are done with eye contact and handshake.
00:38All right, so let's get to the bottom of this. Right, Joe? So Jerry again, spouting nonsense.
00:42So what he's saying is, you know, sometimes these deals don't get done on paper first. It's a
00:46handshake, and you look him in the eye. Did we not do this back in March when you told us
00:50that you were in a meeting room with Micah Parsons, just you and him, and agreed to details,
00:55and away you go. April, May, June, July, now August. So apparently, Jerry, that's not how you
01:02get deals done. And again, like, can you hear me back there in the 50s, Jerry? Like, what year are
01:10you living in? We're not shaking hands and annexing Louisiana here, my friend, okay? This is a totally
01:18different world than 2025. This is about understanding agents are a part of the game. They have been for,
01:24oh, I don't know, what, three, four decades now. The fact that you haven't spoken directly with
01:30Parsons since this supposed handshake, or even contacted his agent in any way, shape, or form,
01:36is maybe the most unbelievable thing. And now he's trying to sell it off like this is how we do it
01:41in the NFL. You haven't done business like that in the NFL in 100 years, Jerry. Stop it, man. It's just
01:48all nonsense.
