00:00:40finally tonight, you're going to confront the nature boy face to face.

00:00:46Well, Gene, it's time to accomplish a couple of things here tonight.
00:00:50First of all, we're going to settle this thing between Ric Flair and I tonight.
00:00:56Once and for all.
00:00:59Ric Flair deserves that.
00:01:01He really does.
00:01:04Second, and perhaps more importantly, we're going to make it very clear that I run this
00:01:10company.
00:01:11For better or worse, I am the boss.

00:01:22And now it's time to settle the issue between myself and Mr. Flair.

00:02:11There's so much hatred running through the body of Eric Bischoff.
00:02:16You can't make a fair decision.
00:02:17He's never really been able to.
00:02:21I think he's done a great job.

00:02:49I am overwhelmed with the fact that in Grand Rapids, Michigan tonight, you, you not only have

00:04:45And to make it abundantly clear, I'd like to bring out Barry Windham right now.

00:10:25the Nature Boy, Ric Flair, just because of Eric Bischoff, and then it was the strength
00:10:28in numbers of the NWO, Black and White, just too much for the horsemen.
00:10:32The horsemen are laying all over the aisle here, there was three or four laying all over
00:10:35the place.
00:10:36Eric Bischoff is scheduled to wrestle Bret the Hitman Hart later on tonight.

00:11:00Vincent came up on the apron of the ring with a slapjack in his hand.
00:11:03He was gonna hit Conan, Conan ducked, he hit Stevie Ray.
00:11:06And then Conan just snapped, he went wild, he was pounding Stevie Ray unmercifully.
00:11:11Billy Zimmerman tried to pull Conan off, but out came Booker T.
00:11:14Booker T told Conan, listen, let me handle all of this.
00:11:18And Conan did walk away, but Stevie Ray wanted nothing to do with his brother Booker T.
00:11:23As a matter of fact, he sided with the NWO before he would side with his own brother.
00:11:28Believe that or not?
00:11:29And I guess after what we've seen with Barry Windham, we can believe just about anything now,
00:11:33can we?
00:11:34That would certainly fall into line.
00:11:36Booker T came out, offered his assistance, offered his help to his brother Stevie Ray,

00:13:14Rock and White have.

00:13:16When it gets to the point where you turn down any help, any assistance from your own brother.
00:13:22You know, the funny thing about Bischoff is, I don't know if it'd bother him if one man beat
00:13:27another man, or one tag team beat another tag team.
00:13:30I think what gets under him is when you push his authority.
00:13:34Flair's gonna do this, Flair wants to do that.
00:13:37Nobody tells Eric Bischoff what to do, and he's gonna let you know it, one way or the other.
00:13:43Yeah, it's all ego driven, there's no question.
00:13:46All right, here's the information that we have just collected down.
00:13:49I wanna get this done before this match gets well underway.
00:13:53The Horsemen, as you saw, were devastated.
00:13:56I mean, physically devastated.
00:13:58And the Horsemen now, including Ric Flair, we understand, have left the Van Andel Arena.
00:14:04They've gone somewhere to regroup to talk about this, but there's one catch to all of this.
00:14:10Dean Malenko is contractually bound to wrestle Bret Hart.
00:14:15That was a match that was scheduled, we saw it in our rundown, and that was already scheduled.
00:14:21So he has to stay behind by himself to wrestle Bret Hart here tonight.
00:14:26And we know this is another part of this grand design by Bischoff to attack Dean Malenko, knowing that Malenko had Bret Hart down the road here later on tonight.
00:14:35Well, of course it's part of the master plan. Now they're gonna throw Malenko to the Wolves.
00:14:39He's in trouble is what he is.
00:14:41You know, if you ask me, I think his plan is to get rid of the Horsemen.
00:14:45All of them. All at once.

00:14:49Well, I don't think there's any question. I mean, he tried with NWO Hollywood.
00:14:53He went out to buck tradition, and that's what the Horsemen stand for.

00:14:59Booker T, the former television champ, former World Tag Team champ, runs over Conan, who looks pretty stunned.
00:15:05But Booker T is a phenomenal athlete. You can just look at this upper body development, those massive arms that he has.
00:15:13He's quite the athlete as Booker T.
00:15:15You gotta watch him get better every six months.
00:15:17Every six months you saw him add something. You saw his body improve. You saw his quickness. You saw his skills.
00:15:23He's really improved over the years.
00:15:25Really made that flawless transition from tag team wrestling into singles.
00:15:30I think being a title holder helped show up.
00:15:32I think so, too, because you always wrestle the top competition.
00:15:35But there's another factor here about Booker T.
00:15:37During the layoff, during the knee injury, he didn't lose a step.
00:15:41He's come back now, and it looks like he's never gone anywhere.
00:15:44A lot of times you'll find out with wrestlers taking a couple of months off that they'll be a little rusty.
00:15:49They won't have the flow back.
00:15:50But Booker T has not lost a step at all here.
00:15:53He ducks and sends him down.
00:15:55He certainly can raise the roof.
00:16:00So, as we said, Malenko does have to stay behind by himself.
00:16:05He's a man's man.
00:16:06He'll face Bret Hart.

00:16:40I called it the most dominant performance that I had ever seen by one man in a battle royal,
00:16:46just the way that he went through that entire ring number three at the start of the matchup.
00:16:51And push goes Booker T, not only one of the most dominant performances, Mike, you're right,
00:16:55but one of the most well thought out, well orchestrated strategies by anyone in a battle royal.
00:17:04It was great strategy because he cleared the ring and because of the rules where the final 20 men
00:17:09went to the middle ring, it allowed him to sort of sit back and watch the action.
00:17:14Rest up, recuperate, and be prepared for the final 20.

00:22:45The gorgeous Nitro girls are out, and we're getting ready to kick off the third hour,
00:22:48where you gotta see big sexy Kevin Nash, the man who won World War III last night.

00:22:56And you're gonna see tonight, Goldberg and the Giants with a world title.
00:23:00There must be a winner, and as we heard from Bret Hart,
00:23:03he is going to try to take Dean Malenko of the Horseman,
00:23:10the only Horseman still here tonight, completely apart.
00:23:14Tony, I was under the assumption that upcoming at Starrcade,
00:23:17we would find out how big sexy Kevin Nash does against a wrestler with a long winning streak.
00:23:24I don't think we're gonna have to wait until Starrcade, because Kevin Nash is set to meet a man
00:23:29who since his return to World Championship Wrestling several months ago has been undefeated.
00:23:34We're talking about the master of the Meltdown, Wrath.
00:23:39Well, just think, Wrath's gotta know, and so does Goldberg.
00:23:42Wrath's undefeated, Goldberg's undefeated, and they both have Kevin Nash.
00:23:48All right, so we're set for this match, and a couple of important notes to pass along to you.
00:23:54Starrcade, the one we've been talking about, Goldberg and Kevin Nash,
00:23:58and a whole lot more is set for Sunday night, the 27th of December, two days after Christmas,
00:24:05in Washington, in the nation's capital at the MCI Center.
00:24:10Tickets are still available at the MCI Center box office and Ticketmaster.
00:24:15And this coming Friday, the day after Thanksgiving, is a big day in Atlanta,
00:24:21because that's when tickets go on sale for Monday Nitro's return to the Georgia Dome, which will be Monday, January 4th.
00:24:28Tickets first go on sale this Friday morning at 10 a.m.
00:24:33The Georgia Dome box office and Ticketmaster, in addition, meet Goldberg and many of the Nitro girls at the Georgia Dome box office Friday morning,

00:24:45And who could ever forget, July the 6th, the last time that Nitro visited the WCW home base,
00:24:52Atlanta, Georgia, in the Georgia Dome.
00:24:54Maybe the most memorable Nitro ever, when Goldberg was crowned new World Heavyweight Champion,
00:25:01defeating Hollywood Hogan in front of 40,000 people.
00:25:0540,000 standing people, Channing Goldberg, that was a sight.
00:25:10I bet there's 80,000 there.
00:25:13It's gonna be a big night in Atlanta, I don't think there's any question about that.
00:25:17Grassroots wrestling fans, and not only that, as Kevin Nash comes out,
00:25:23you know, we've talked a lot, and we're gonna have a big announcement, we understand, from Hollywood Hogan,
00:25:28coming Thursday on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, trying to maybe enlighten us on why he did not make it to World War III.
00:25:38But Hogan is starting to get some grassroots support for his campaign of becoming President of the United States.
00:25:45I talked to some youngsters from Tiff County, Georgia, and the Blue Devil Percussion Unit,
00:25:51and they all said, hey, we want Hogan to become the President of the United States.
00:25:56Our parents agree with us, and you hear things like that, and you think,
00:26:01this man may have a chance in 2000 of winning this thing.
00:26:04You know people from Tiff County, Georgia?
00:26:06Tiff County, Georgia, if you please shut up, you bonehead.

00:26:10It's, I tell you, I hear it all the time, the man has got the support out there.

00:26:22No question the support that Hollywood Hogan could receive when he runs for President of the United States,

00:27:58What he's gotta do now is concentrate on this big man, who is undefeated, Wrath.

00:28:14he stormed into the corner with a pair of knee left there,

00:46:02Now, what has Bret Hart been doing to everybody he's gotten in the ring with?

00:46:08This is a very bad predicament for Mr. Malenko.

00:46:11He's gonna take the leg and throw it to the crowd.

00:46:20And let's also mention the fact that the horsemen decimated, left the arena.
00:46:26But Malenko had to stay behind because of the contract obligation to Bret Hart.

00:46:41He's a man to himself here, and Bret Hart has so many resources,
00:46:45including members of NWO Hollywood should he need them.
