00:00:50And if someone is injured, then someone else can fill the void.
00:00:53It certainly is a big advantage to have on your side.

00:02:11He's battled back from knee injuries, from arthroscopic surgery.

00:02:25Truly, one of the top ad groups, count for pound, in any weight class.
00:02:31It's Booker T.
00:02:32It's good to see him back, Booker champion in singles and in tag team wrestling in WCW.
00:02:37You know, when I first came to WCW, I saw him and his brother as a tag team.
00:02:40And I thought they were a good tag team.
00:02:41A lot of tag teams can never go on to become singles.
00:02:45But this man was able to do it.
00:02:56Canyon just took a drink of my water.
00:02:59Yes, he did.

00:03:14Like I was saying, he's made it in tag team competition.
00:03:17He's also made it single-handedly.
00:03:21And a lot of people don't think, a lot of people didn't think a man could come from tag team wrestling and make it as a single.
00:03:26This man did it.
00:03:27And the trouble he's had with the NWO and his brother and everybody else, he still is probably at the top of his game.
00:03:34Well, most great wrestlers start first with singles and then move in the tag.
00:03:39Which is the reverse for Booker T, of course, and his brother, who is the leader now, the NWO black and white, Stevie Ray.
00:03:46They have certainly had their differences, disagreements, although they have never really come to blows.
00:03:53They have just kept their distance from one another.
00:03:55But it's great to see Booker T back.
00:03:56The last time we saw him, he had been dropped by one of the Steiners, by Rick Steiner.
00:04:01Couldn't even make it out.
00:04:03And as we said, he has battled back from injuries.
00:04:05He is back in the ring.
00:04:06And he's going to face a man with abundance of confidence.
00:04:10And Canyon should be a great matchup.
00:04:15Canyon's other two cohorts, Bam Bam and DDP, will defend the World Tag Team belts against Conan and Ray Jr.
00:04:23And then on the horizon tonight, the mega main event, Sting and Sid Vicious.
00:04:33That's all still to come if they hook it up here for the next match.
00:04:37Well, Sid didn't get the name Vicious driving the welcome wagon.
00:04:40He's a bad man.

00:04:43Anyone can tell you we've seen it.
00:04:45The impact he made at the Great American Bash and last weekend on Monday Nitro.

00:05:42That's what makes the matches, one of the things that makes the Macho Man's matches so interesting.

00:06:02And I was talking to him about Canyon and all the offense and the variety of moves that he can use

00:06:16I've got a game plan I'm going to use.
00:06:18Listen, I'm not going to deter from that game plan at all.

00:12:25A lot of times when you take a layoff, regardless of how long it is, weeks or months, obviously the longer, the tougher it is to come back.
00:12:34But it goes back to, as the match goes longer, that's when you find out exactly if you've come back too soon or not.
00:12:41We talked about that earlier with Eddie.
00:12:42It would have been to Booker T.'s benefit, probably, to win this match quickly and get it over with.
00:12:50The longer it goes, you've got to feel, even though Booker T. is a phenomenal athlete, but because of the layoff, that Canyon has an advantage.

00:12:58Canyon immediately kicks him in the gut.

00:14:26You know, as dangerous as he is.
00:14:27And everybody says he's nuts and the madness.

00:14:30But he's also thinking all the time, too.

00:14:33Thinking, thinking, thinking is what he has said many times.
00:14:35And that's what he does.
00:14:37And he's got to wonder what's going to be in store for Sting and Nash and Bash of the Beach for the Macho Man and Sid Vicious.
