Should the Government have the power to decide what’s safe to see online? How do you feel about censorship and who should be responsible for deciding what content is acceptable?

00:00There is a lot of harms online for young kids.
00:02There's a lot of suicide.
00:04There's a lot of bullying that goes on online.
00:06So it's a catch-22.
00:08It's a 50-50 kind of thing.
00:09But I hope that they strike a balance between free speech and control.
00:14To some extent, the general public needs to have some say as to what is censored or not.
00:19But equally, I think there's obviously been so many issues with the government censoring things.
00:23And it's led to all sorts of, like, many, like, it's had catastrophic consequences.
00:27But equally, especially for children nowadays, when everything is so fast and they're able to access so many things,
00:33it's so important, I think, that maybe some things are censored from specifically younger children.
00:38Why not the government have got the responsibility to, you know, use the laws, like what is good for us, what is good for not.
00:51And they have got full, but I think censorship should be based on the personal opinions as well.
