00:00So, I figured who better to wring in the end of this lawn than death himself.

00:11Obviously, I'm very pro-death, so when I was asked to appear on Kill Your Lawn, no-brainer.

00:41People don't know, actually, death takes a break now and then, and it comes to Sal Padres Island.

01:01I love the sea turtles. What can I say? I love the baby sea turtles.

01:06Something really special about doing this project with Julie and John here is this is a place that's under-botanized,

01:12and people don't think of it as a big point on the map of the native plant movement.

01:17I'm out here in the dunes where the turtles lay their eggs, trying to change that,

01:21and I'm stoked to recreate some of these native plant constellations at Julie and John's.
