Daniel Farke says Leeds United need more in attack

00:06head coach Daniel Farke has spoken of the need for more going forward in terms of goal

00:13Yes, we will see. Obviously we have a bit more than two weeks right now to prepare. Again,

00:20in the centre, in the defence, we are on a really good pass. Offensive-wise, if we are

00:24really honest, we have lost one of our main threats in the offence with Mano Solomón.

00:31We didn't have many additions so far, if I'm really honest. If then players like Daniel

00:37James, who is important for us, or also Jack Harrison, who was not available due to injury,

00:42are not available, then of course it's a bit thin in the offence. We know what we have

00:45to do that we need also to strengthen the squad a little bit on these positions. Yes, also

00:51in the full-back positions, if there is an injury like at the moment for Jadon Bogan,

00:56it's also not that easy. So I think we have to be aware also in this position as well.

01:03So there is still lots of work to do. I can't promise that everything is there in time for

01:09the first game day because these players need also, of course, a few training sessions with

01:13us.

01:14And Bradford City's Antony Sarcevic has said he was buzzing following the Bantams' 2-1 win

01:34Obviously we wanted to come and make it a good afternoon for ourselves and the fans and we've

01:39done that and it's a great way to kick off the season.

01:42Yourself started this season as you ended last season, how good is it to get yourself off

01:45the mark of a goal?

01:46Yeah, obviously buzzing. Obviously one of them, I just obviously react and hopefully

01:51it drops them in. Thankfully it did and I was there to put it in, yeah.

01:55And you see that the team's already working as a proper team together. How has pre-season

01:59helped that?

02:00Yeah, it's massive. The gaffer makes to put the hard yards in and that game there probably

02:05identifies it, the work we put in because we're there until the last minute putting the hard

02:10yards in and when we come away with a 2-1 win, it's obviously worth it.
