Leeds still “working” ahead of Everton says Daniel Farke

00:01Daniel Farger has confirmed that Leeds United will work over the weekend

00:04as they prepare for their first Premier League game of the season at home to Everton.

00:09This comes as the club have confirmed the signing of Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

00:13Working, to be honest.

00:15So we have to prepare, of course, the group for an important opener for us.

00:20And yes, we will spend lots of time on the training ground and prepare for it.

00:27So it's also good and beneficial right now also to have a few more time and sessions on the training pitch.

00:34And for that, we stay concentrated and focused.

00:37And whenever there is a bit of time, we have also one eye on all the other games

00:40to watch a few results and a few performances.

00:42But we're mainly concentrated on ourselves.

00:45There's been quite a few reports on Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

00:49What would a striker like him bring to Leeds?

00:52And can you give us an update on where that situation's at at all?

00:54Yes, we have not officially announced it, but we are more or less under us right now.

01:03So he will support us and will be from this afternoon a member of our squad.

01:08And of course, we're all pretty happy and delighted that Dominic will wear a lead shirt from now on.

01:14And Bradford City's Bobby Poynton has made clear that he was always of the mind

01:19that he would sign a new deal at the club to extend his stay.

01:22After the end of the season, after promotion and everything, when it died down

01:29and that's when I sort of had the little conversation with my agents

01:33and thankfully it all got over the line.

01:38How has the summer been, just to digest the promotion

01:44Unbelievable. The first two a week were just mad for me.

01:54Just loving it. Soaking it all up and then you've got to have a switch.
