00:23Bury the guys that you have, I guess, is one approach to it.
00:25But also, I think it's fair to say we didn't give Alex Cora and this particular team enough credit.
00:31Because Alex Cora has had five straight tank the second half, get depressed about the trade deadline, get upset, and all of a sudden lose a bunch of games.
00:42They've had a losing record in August every year since 2019.
00:47It was the last time they had a winning record in August.
00:48So we were looking at that.
00:50We were looking at how is this team going to react to it.
00:52And lo and behold, they go out there and they sweep after a dramatic extra inning win on Friday.
00:57And then they follow that up with back-to-back wins.
01:003-0 to start the month, which has normally been their sort of doomsday.
01:04That's great.
01:05And that is credit to Cora, who we were questioning.
01:07And that's credit to this team, which has a lot of new faces.
01:11Which I think is important to point out.
01:13Like a lot of these bad Augusts didn't have Alex Bregman.
01:17I know he didn't pitch, but didn't have Gary Crochet on the team.
01:20Didn't have Chapman.
01:22Didn't have Roman Anthony.
01:23Like, there's a lot of new guys, new leadership on this team.
01:26And maybe that's one of the reasons for a change.

01:28And you made the point.
01:29There's no more Rafi Devers.
01:31You know, there's no more Kenley Jansen.
01:34You want to go back a few years?
01:34There's not even any more Xander Bogarts, who was just moping around like someone shot his dog
01:39when they traded Vasquez a couple of years ago.
01:41So, I think we were right to look at the month of August and say,
01:46well, this is another incoming dip for the Red Sox.
01:50They stink every August.
01:51They did nothing.
01:52Cora's going to mope around and pout.
01:54And he's going to drag the team down with him.
01:55I think we were right to highlight how they've been in August the last few years.
01:59Yeah.
01:59They're far from out of the woodwork on it.
02:01I mean, it's only three games.
02:02Yeah, yeah, yeah.
02:03Three and all.
02:03But it's a great start.
02:04And that is a good Astros team.
02:06I mean, it is.
02:06That's not some bum-ass team that they played.
