00:00Day four was a busy and successful day for TNT in the Cayman Islands and it
00:05started with Kezia Hunt who went into the women's open 78 kg event as the hot
00:10favorite. The national champion looked strong in the squat and bench press
00:14setting personal bests along the way and she was even more dominant in the
00:18deadlift setting the record in the event while striking goal. Kezia Hunt one
00:23more time a monster 232.5 kg in the bar the 76 kg lifter and right around three
00:31times bodyweight deadlift right here.
00:39She gets it off the ground, she locks it out and the referees say three white lights
00:49go left there. Great job for Kezia Hunt. She goes nine for nine on the day. A
00:56proud moment for the 27 year old as she was emotional as the anthem was
01:00played.
01:09But there was more to come for TNT as Mikel John was almost flawless in the
01:14men's equipped open 83 kg. Ram John went six for six in the squat and
01:19bench press and was consistent in the deadlift on his way to bronze. Here goes
01:23Mikel trying to break the 500 pound.
01:30He locks it out and 18 year old Antonio Francis showed poise against
01:36international competition in the men's sub junior 83 kg. He wasn't
01:41flawless but he was combative throughout the first two sequences but when it
01:45mattered he brought out his best particularly in the deadlift.
01:49setting a record and was a static to capture silver. Let's go Antonio.
01:53He's coming off the ground. There we go. Hips through.
02:02Boom. Locks it out. Referees say. Three white lights. Three left. Three white lights. And look at this. I mean just such a classic sumo deadlift. A little slow off the floor. Accelerated. Accelerated. He's able to get those hips through.
02:15He's able to get those hips through. Terrence Clark. TV6 Sport.
