00:00July 23rd. The Precious Blood. Our victory in suffering. Suffering touches every life.
00:08Whether it comes through illness, loss, betrayal, or hidden pain, it can feel overwhelming,
00:15like a weight too heavy to bear. But the Precious Blood of Jesus transforms suffering from a curse
00:21into a gift. Through His blood, suffering becomes redemptive. It becomes participation in the cross,
00:30and therefore, a path to glory. His blood does not take suffering away. It gives it meaning.
00:38On Calvary, Jesus did not merely sympathize with our pain. He entered into it fully.
00:45His wounds became fountains of mercy, and His blood, a river of compassion. Every drop testifies
00:53that He has not abandoned us. When we unite our suffering with His, we do not suffer alone.
01:00And even when we cannot see it, our pain, offered to God, can become a source of grace
01:06for others. This is the mystery of the cross. That love can blossom in suffering when touched
01:13by divine blood. We begin to see that we are not victims of pain, but vessels of redemption.
01:20The Precious Blood does not promise a life without hardship. But it does promise that every sorrow
01:27can be offered and transformed. St. Gemma Galgani, the young mystic of Lucca, bore immense suffering
01:35in body and spirit. Stricken with illness and spiritual trials, she nevertheless offered everything
01:41in union with Jesus' passion. She had a deep devotion to the Precious Blood, and often experienced
01:48mystical visions of Jesus bleeding for love of souls. In her pain, she rejoiced to suffer
01:54with Christ. She understood that the blood of Jesus was not merely for her comfort, but
02:00her strength and identity. Let us bring our sufferings to the altar, uniting them with His
02:06wounds. When we do, our lives, no matter how broken, become like chalices, filled with the
02:14same blood that redeemed the world. Let us pray.
02:17Lord Jesus, in my suffering, let me not despair. Pour Your precious blood over every hurt, every
02:27fear, every hidden pain. Let my wounds be united with Yours. Through the intercession of St. Gemma
02:36Galgani, who bore suffering with joy and love, teach me to suffer well, and to trust in the power of
02:43Your redeeming blood. Amen. If you would like to know more about our mission and vision at A
