00:00Well, clearly, Ukraine is in a very difficult position at the moment. Civilians are being
00:05shelled nightly. What the Russians are doing there is outrageous. It's contrary to all
00:10international law. It's contrary to the laws of war itself. And what we ought to be thinking about
00:14as friends and allies of Ukraine is how we can help. Now, clearly, President Trump is running
00:20out of patience. He wanted this war to end. We all want it to end. He wanted to end relatively
00:25quickly. We would all like that. We've all been encouraging the negotiations. But so far,
00:31of course, Russia has not been seriously negotiating. It's been repeating demands it's been making
00:37since the beginning of the invasion over three years ago. So unless we get some serious response
00:43from Russia, it's very hard to see what else we can do other than simply help Ukraine restock its
00:50military, defend its civilians as best it can, and repeat its claim to the territory that it owns
00:59and the territory that it was guaranteed by the United States, by the United Kingdom,
01:04and indeed by Russia under the Budapest Treatise.
