00:00Outgoings-wise, is there anything significant in the way of interest?

00:04You seem quite open to moving players on if opportunities arose.

00:08Yeah, look, the fact of the matter is, as we've proven with...

00:12Look, this is not disrespectful to Jack Watmo,

00:15but when we put the bid in for Adele,

00:19we hoped that we could back-to-back it

00:22with Jack finding somewhere where he could play more often.

00:27And that worked.

00:28So, financially, that worked.

00:30And similarly, if any of our players here have a value

00:33and we think that because we can bring somebody in,

00:36we could let somebody go, well, then we'd do that as well.

00:39So, it's just part and parcel of trying to balance the squad

00:43right up to the 1st of September when the window closes.

00:46How active can you be when it comes to outgoings

00:50and if there's players you'd ideally like to move on?

00:52Is there only so much you can do?

00:54Not active enough, sadly.

00:56Yeah.

00:56You know, the biggest frustration in this business is everybody wants us

01:04to have our own players, rather than loans.

01:07When you have your own players, it's great.

01:09And when it gets to that point in time when perhaps it's time for them

01:14to move on or we could bring somebody in who we think will take the club forward

01:19more quickly, it's a big challenge to get the ones out that we think it might be time.

01:27You know, I've been criticised in the past for why did he give him a two-year deal

01:30or a three-year deal or whatever.

01:31At the time you give contracts out, you can't win because if you give them a one-year deal

01:37and they turn out to be superstars, you get criticised because they walk out in a year's time.

01:41And if you give them a three-year deal and after two years they're not being picked

01:44by their manager, we get criticised and give them a three-year deal.

01:47And, you know, it is a massive, massive challenge in getting it right.

01:51So do we have players here who we would be prepared to let go either because we think

01:58we might be able to bring others in? Yes.

02:00Do we have players here who if we got the right bid financially we would move on?

02:05Of course, because every player is for sale but only at the right price.

02:09We're not sitting here with bids on the table that we are saying people are going to go

02:16that would ordinarily start every week.
