00:08Well, Paul wanted to strengthen the goalkeeping department
00:14because clearly we had an injury to Freddie at the end of last season.
00:18And whilst Lee Bowie is very talented and we've got really high hopes for him,
00:23he was nervous that we went through a lot of games there with a goalkeeper
00:26and then a 17-year-old on the bench.
00:28And he never wanted us to be exposed to that.
00:31So as we sit here at the moment, we'll bring in, we'll announce today,
00:36we'll brought in another experienced goalkeeper who will fight for Dai,
00:42assuming Dai stays the backup slot and may well fight Daniel to start,
00:48which means we've got competition.
00:50Whereas in reality, we weren't quite in that position last year
00:53and we don't want to be exposed.
00:54So let's see who stays and how many stay.
00:58But Paul was very keen to make sure that in every area we had experience
01:04and we weren't at risk.
01:06So we've brought another goalkeeper in.
01:09We'll see by the 1st of September how many we've still got.
01:13And I think if you go through, as I've already said to you,
01:17we went through yesterday every position and let's assume we haven't yet finished.
01:22We've got a squad of players that if I was to say to you, pick the start in the 11,
01:28you probably couldn't.
01:30And then if I then said to you, well, he's going to start with these three
01:34instead of those three that you were thinking of, you say, actually, that's good.
01:36It doesn't weaken us.
01:38And that's the first time we've been in that position for a long time.
01:40Where does another striker come in and leave you?
01:44Because you've got four pretty senior ones there.
01:46Is it fair to say you'd like another one as well?
01:48I think that all the time Paul is looking to bring in goal scorers
01:57who've got a proven track record.
01:59And would we, if we could, yes.
02:01Would that mean we kept five?
02:03Maybe not.
02:04But we haven't found the ones we've been in yet.
02:07Does that mean more would then go?
02:09Possibly.
02:10Which one would that be?
02:11I don't know.
02:12And, of course, Daniel's not ours.
02:15He's on loan.
02:16And the great thing versus last season,
02:19I think we had four or five loan players last season.
02:22At the moment, we've only got one.
02:24So, again, where we're actually stronger is the players were brought in
02:27in the main, with one exception, or ours.
