00:00Bill Michaels, as I said earlier, a legend in Wisconsin, the whole state, he owns it.
00:05He's the governor.
00:06I just wanted to mention to you that you just brought up the Super Bowl in Santa Clara at Levi's.
00:12And that, you know, it's clearly I live there.
00:17It's I'm going to it's clearly top seven in traffic in the country.
00:22It's got to be like that.
00:23The traffic in that city is is really strange and really bad.
00:28Like it's not like it's not New York.
00:31It's not L.A.
00:32It's not Miami, but it's it's top seven.
00:36I mean, I'm going to give it a strong six or seven.
00:38So if you had to go from the convention center in San Francisco and they have that media night at the Levi's, if they do that drastic, that would be just drastic.
00:49Because I'm telling you, getting from that place, that city down to that place at any hour is a nightmare.
00:56And you brought up it. So I'm already booking my house.
00:59And I'm like, oh, God, just on a bus for three hours.
01:03I can see it now. I'm already angry.
01:06Right. Oh, it's it's yeah, it was terrible.
01:08And the last time we were there, we stayed up in Sonoma.
01:11So when you stay on Central Time, you're a couple of hours.
01:15So instead of the show starting at 10 a.m. Central Time, it starts at 8 a.m., which means you got to get on the road at six, which means you get up at four.
01:20So you're leaving wine country. The cool thing was crossing the Golden Gate Bridge.
01:24But then when you left, you had to go over the Bay Bridge into Oakland and then around.
01:28It was a nightmare. What a nightmare. What a nightmare that is.
01:32And listen, I got to tell you, I got to tell you, like I used to go over that that Bay Bridge all the time.
01:38Right. Like I live there and I used to fly out of Oakland because I lived in I lived in Huntington Beach.
01:45And I would go home on the weekends to my crib on the on the ocean as opposed to living in the city in San Francisco.
01:53I love San Francisco, but I used to drive on that Bay Bridge.
01:56And look, I don't like being on bridges to begin with.
02:00And then let alone that bridge.
02:01I will never forget when people just drove right into the ocean.
02:04They just drove right in. They just drove right off the end of it into the ocean.
02:08I want no part of that bridge.
02:10It's like I'm like I go over that I go over to GW Bridge in Manhattan and the thing's bouncing and then you're in your car and the thing.
02:20And like if you're in bumper to bumper traffic, you're sitting on it.
02:22Right.
02:23The thing is shaking.
02:24You're like, yeah.
02:25And it's and it's 200 years old.
02:29Yeah. Yeah.
02:30I've been there.
02:31I completely get it, man.
02:32You start to sweat a little bit.
02:34I remember not to get too far off topic, but the first time I was at Camp Randall when they did Jump Around,
02:38I was there with doing some stuff with CBS and Brent Musburger.
02:41They started doing Jump Around and the whole stadium shakes if you've never been in it.
02:44I mean, the whole thing just rattles and it starts to sway and you could see the glass.
02:49He had a glass of water that had some condensation.
02:51It was doing this on the desk and he's holding on.
02:54You know, you know, he always does the you're looking live.
02:56I kept thinking to myself he was going to say, you're about to see my death live, you know,
03:00because he thought I was coming down.
03:01So I get it.
03:02It's that bad.
03:03Let's talk about your brewers.
03:04So on Friday, I, you know, I bet on him at plus 157 Friday night and cash that ticket.
03:12And then they proceeded to the Dodgers bled out the whole weekend.
03:17I mean, they beat him all three, 10 in a row now for this team.
03:22I said last week on the show, I think they're in my view, they're going to they're going to beat the Cubs.
03:29I think they will catch them.
03:30And you know, they already have and I think at the end of the day at the end of the road, it's going to be them in that central either way to a playoff team and they're dangerous.
03:38And not only that, they kick the Dodgers ass every single time they played them this year.
03:44They won every game.
03:45Yeah, right.
03:46They had there's a couple of things I look at.
03:49I go back to mid May and they were about six and a half games out.
03:52They were a team that was about 500.
03:53And then they had the 10th inning walk off Grand Slam by Yelich.
03:59And just before that, Pat Murphy had said, we've got a lot of displaced energy.
04:03We haven't come together yet.
04:05Since then, they've been the best team in baseball that just brought them together.
04:09Just that walk off home run.
04:11And then you have Mizorowski that comes up.
04:13This young kid, this phenom who we've been watching in the minus for the last couple of years.
04:16He comes up and he throws lights out.
04:18Remember, they paired him up against Skeens of Pittsburgh in a day game at American Family Field.
04:24And they jumped on Skeens right away.
04:26Got a four run lead.
04:27Mizorowski never looked back.
04:28He brings the energy.
04:29Then they pair him up with Kershaw.
04:31He beats Kershaw.
04:32Then they end up beating the Dodgers and sweeping them here.
04:35And you kept thinking, well, you wonder if that momentum is going to leave come the all-star break.
04:39Because now kind of, you know, clear the slate and you start over.
04:42And they pick up where they left off.
04:43It's been amazing.
04:44An amazing run.
04:45And they're getting clutch hits and guys like Caleb Durbin and guys that, you know, Isaac Collins and Jeffrey Ortiz has been really good.
04:53And Pat Murphy said yesterday, he said, you know, a lot of the fans that don't know us can't even tell you who's on our team.
04:59But here we are.
05:00You know, now we're neck and neck with the Chicago Cubs.
05:02And the Cubs have a hell of a team.
05:03They just don't have great starting pitching.
05:04But the Brewers have great starting pitching.
05:05So, I want to ask you, Lillard came there and then left.
05:11And he's going back to Rip City.
05:15And he also tore his Achilles.
05:17So, it's going to be another year.
05:18But he's going to go back there where it all started and finish his career.
05:23What did the people think of that and him in Milwaukee?
05:27It was something that we knew would, something would happen.
05:32We just weren't sure what.
05:34You thought, well, maybe if they keep Lillard by January, maybe he can come back and contribute for the second half of the season.
05:39But you also knew that there's the pressure on.
05:42Giannis wants to win and wants to win now.
05:45And there's a lot of rumors about Giannis, whether or not he will or doesn't want to leave.
05:48I was, look, I'll tell you this, between you and me, and I said this on my show numerous times, he's not going anywhere.
05:54He loves Milwaukee.
05:55This is the only American city that he's known as home.
05:59They take his mom shopping in Chicago.
06:01They cater to his family.
06:02They do anything and everything he wants.
06:04He's got it like a king here.
06:06And the whole city loves him, wherever he goes.
06:08I mean, they just love this guy.
06:10So, he's not leaving Milwaukee.
06:11So, they need to figure out a way to bring players in.
06:14And the only way they could do that was to make the Lillard move.
06:16So, you know, to put Lillard for $25 million for the next five years, they had to make a move.
06:21And I give John Horst credit.
06:22They've said all the time, we're going to continue to get better.
06:24We're going to continue to keep Giannis.
06:26And here's the other thing.
06:26They're building a hotel and a big entertainment complex next to the Fiserv Forum.
06:30If Giannis would leave and they go back to being nobody for a long period of time, that Fiserv Forum and all of that stuff becomes a paperweight, man.
06:38There's no way they're letting Giannis leave Milwaukee.
06:40Real quick, less than 30 seconds.
06:43How are the Packers going into camp?
06:45Packers are exciting, but it all hinges on Jordan Love.
06:48You and I talked down at Super Bowl.
06:50If he doesn't get better and go back to what he was in the second half of that first season under center, then all is lost.
06:55It doesn't matter the moves they made.
06:56He's got to be really good and really consistent this season.
06:59But there's a lot of Super Bowl hopes here in Green Bay.
07:01So, Bill Michaels has a gigantic house on a lake and he only has two neighbors and he doesn't like either one of them.
