00:00But I'm looking forward also to the Cubs and the Brewers series.
00:03But two opposites here, right?
00:06Cubs kind of smacked the Brewers down in game one.
00:09And the Brewers come back and do what the Brewers have done all season long.
00:13They counter right back, counterpunch right back and handle the Cubs no problem last night.
00:18Now they got Miserowski on the mound tonight going up against Peterson.
00:23I thought it would be a little bit higher, but I guess they're giving the Cubs a little
00:27bit of love here in this spot, Craig, as far as the prices go and the odds go.
00:32But listen, Miz on the mound, I got no problem, I don't know, laying the run in a half with
00:37Milwaukee, that's for sure.
00:40All right, so Pete Crow Armstrong against Jacob Miserowski, Joe.
00:46Now, again, I can't take all the credit for all these stats that I'm rolling off.
00:49I'm lucky to have my stat pack sent to me.
00:52So I have it.
00:53Being on the broadcast, I get it.
00:55So don't think Craig Mish is here with all these stats in his brain.
00:59He does a little prep and gets some more prep from some help with Major League Baseball
01:04here.
01:04So trivia time for Joe Ranieri.
01:08Pete Crow Armstrong has faced Jacob Miserowski a total of 12 times, 12 times.
01:17Joe, what do you think Pete Crow Armstrong has done against Jacob Miserowski in 12 at-bats?
01:23Would you like to take a shot at this?
01:27How many hits does he have or how many, what are we thinking?
01:30Yes.
01:31How many hits?
01:31Yeah.
01:3212.
01:32Probably.
01:35I would say no hits, but half of those are strikeouts.
01:40Wow.
01:41Joe Ranieri.
01:41Give that man a prize.
01:44Yeah.
01:440 for 12.
01:45It feels like 0 for 12.
01:46Oh, for 12.
01:48That's unbelievable.
01:49With nine strikeouts against Jacob Miserowski.
01:51That's crazy.
01:52Pete Crow Armstrong.
01:54That's crazy.
01:54Jacob Miserowski has faced the Cubs twice this season.
01:58And he is 2-0 with a .75 earned run average.
02:04Joe, if you back the Cubs tonight, good luck.
02:06I am not with you.
02:08I am going to take Milwaukee tonight.
02:10No chance.
02:11I saw the plus run, what was it, minus a run and a half Milwaukee.
02:14Did you guys have that at plus 104, I think, on the board?
02:18I think that's the way I'm looking.
02:20I got no problem laying Milwaukee there.
02:23Minus a run and a half at, yeah, right around plus.
02:26I'm good with that.
02:27Greg, I got no problem laying that with the road team here,
02:31especially with Miz going tonight.
02:33You got to take your shots when you can take them.
02:36But now what, 80, 70, 78 wins for the Cubs here, 86 wins for Milwaukee.
02:46It does kind of feel like Milwaukee is going to finish with the best record
02:50in all of Major League Baseball.
02:53Now, does that mean they benefit from playing home?
02:57Now, you had always said they were a pretty good home team this year, 47 and 25.
03:02But they weren't a terrible road team either here.
03:06But the Dodgers also, 40 and 27 at home, 42 and 29 on the road.
03:12Dodgers have 82 wins, Milwaukee 86, and you got Atlanta at 83.
03:18It would still have to be a catastrophic failure for Milwaukee not to have home field
03:23advantage throughout the playoffs here, no?
03:25Yeah, I think, you know, I do think so.
03:29I still, you know, can't really say that I believe that this Brewers team
03:34is more postseason built than in years past.
03:38Joe, the only difference is, I think now, is that Mizorowski is so dominant
03:44that as – isn't it hard to just say that Mizorowski in a seven-game series
03:48pitches three times and loses twice?
03:50It doesn't see – it doesn't really roll off the tongue.
03:53So if that's the case, maybe this Brewers team does get to the –
03:58like, get to the National League Championship Series.
04:01I think you'd call that a successful season, given the fact that Milwaukee
04:04keeps getting bounced every year in the playoffs.
04:07And maybe that's – and maybe that is the difference for them.
04:10But on the flip side, Joe, yes, they have Harrison.
04:12And yes, some of these pitchers that they have have done a really nice job for them.
04:16But, Joe, if Mizorowski was to face off in the National League Division Series
04:23against, I don't know, Philly.
04:26Chris Sale.
04:27Whatever.
04:28Atlanta.
04:28And lose the first game.
04:30You'd immediately think, that's it.
04:32Brewers are done, right?
04:33Like, you would think, no matter who they have, pitching the rest of the series.
04:36And that is the dynamic that still worries me a little bit.
04:39But Mizorowski is having such a historical season, he's going to strike out 300.
04:45Like, crazy kind of season where maybe he is the guy that puts Milwaukee over the top.
04:51I personally do not believe the Brewers are going to win the World Series.
04:53And I'm not even sure that they're going to represent the National League.
04:56But I'm hopeful for them, because they're in a smaller market
05:00and they do things differently.
05:01I'd like to see them at least get past the first round of the playoffs.
05:05And then I think they can breathe a little bit.
05:08So my question is, are we going to have a 100-win team?
05:12I think Milwaukee is the only one.
05:14Yes, they will win 100.
05:14Yes.
05:15They'll win 100 games.
05:1686 wins?
05:1714 and 12 the rest of the way?
05:19Yes.
05:20I think they can do that.
05:21Yes.
05:22So they'll be there.
05:23Does Tampa do the same?
05:25Are we going to have a couple 100-win teams?
05:27Close.
05:27They're 83 and 55.
05:30I can't guarantee that.
