00:00My three-ingredient tomato pie is the easiest one you'll ever make. Just watch.
00:04Start by dusting parchment paper with flour, which I'm not counting as an ingredient, by the way.
00:08The first real ingredient in this recipe is store-bought pie crust.
00:11Next up, ingredient number two, burson cheese.
00:14Southerners didn't invent this beloved cheese, but we'll sure claim it.
00:17Drop a block of burson in the middle of the pie crust and then spread it evenly,
00:21so by now you can probably guess the final ingredient, a pint of summer tomatoes.
00:25Slice those guys in half, then arrange them in an even layer over the cheese.
00:30Season with salt and pepper, then fold up and pleat the edges.
00:33Drizzle with oil, then slide it onto a sheet pan and bake it 400 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.
00:38Sprinkle over a few basil leaves, and that's it, folks.
00:41Fast, easy, tasty. It's everything you want in a summer supper.
