10:31One day Rocky arrived at Brendam Docks

10:35Rocky was a crane that has no engine

10:39Edward was surprised

10:42He thought Rocky could never be really useful without an engine

10:46He would only ever get in the way

10:49So when Rocky offered to help Edward with his heavy load of telegraph poles

10:54Edward said no thank you

10:57And he puffed quickly away from Rocky

10:59Before the telegraph poles had been properly tied down

11:03Then there was trouble

11:06Telegraph poles fell all over the tracks

11:17The tracks had to be cleared

11:20But Edward wouldn't ask for Rocky's help

11:24He thought Harvey could do the job

11:26That was Edward's big mistake

11:31Harvey wasn't strong enough

11:33He couldn't clear the tracks in time

11:35Soon it was a terrible mess

11:47At last Edward was wise enough to know how to put it right

11:52Edward collected Rocky

11:58He pulled Rocky as fast as he could to the junction

12:04Rocky was happy to help Edward

12:07In no time Rocky had lifted the poles and the tracks were cleared

12:13Thomas cheered for his wise friend Edward

12:26One day Edward wasn't well

12:28He had a lot to do

12:32He thought that if he didn't do his jobs

13:13He told Sir Topham Hatt that he wasn't well

13:26And that made Thomas happy too

13:42James is a bright red engine

13:49He always likes to look his best

13:55And to show the other engines he knows best too

14:07Thomas, Stanley and James were working at the yards

14:10They were shunting trains to take to Great Waterton

14:13They had to arrive on time

14:16Stanley watched James shunting his freight cars

14:19They wiggled and giggled

14:23James quickly biffed and bashed his cars into line

14:28You're the best biffer I've ever seen

14:31Oh, that was nothing

14:33See how easily I can shunt heavy Hector

14:36James collected Hector

14:40Stanley watched as James shunted Hector to the back of his train

14:46Snow started to fall

14:51I'm ready to leave

14:59It's starting to snow, James

15:01You should check the weather with the yard manager

15:04James didn't want to be told what to do by a freight car

15:35It made it hard for James to see ahead

15:41James thought he was steaming through Shen Valley

15:44But he wasn't

15:46He was steaming towards the snowy hills

15:48James saw Edward in a siding

15:55He was wearing his snow plow

16:00The ice has made the line ahead very slippery

16:03It will be hard to shunt your train up the hill

16:06James was surprised he was in the hills

16:09I must have taken the wrong track, he thought

16:12I've had to clear snow from lots of lines

16:15James was worried

16:19We need Edward's help

16:22He could couple up to the front of the train

16:24But James didn't want to be told what to do by a freight car

16:29Especially in front of Edward

16:35So James puffed slowly towards the hill

16:40James huffed and puffed

16:45He steamed and strained

16:47His face was now as red as his boiler

16:51James arrived at the top of the hill

16:57Now I can puff fast down the other side, he thought

17:02Then there was trouble

17:04Hector could see a snow slide had blocked the line

17:08Hector knew that if James slowed down at the bottom

17:11They would get stuck in the drift

18:34At last he had hauled Hector back to the top of the hill

18:47Hector and James raced faster and faster down the hill

18:50There was a mighty biff

18:52And Hector pushed the train right through the snow
