00:00right here on the left james people can look at the statistics and certainly see the impact that

00:09you helped have at syracuse last season um though adding common court certainly helps in a big way

00:13in that how would you describe the impact that you had both in what you inherited in the room

00:17guys you brought in who had big impacts guys you inherited who hadn't had the kind of seasons they

00:21had until you showed up and how do you try to replicate that here no definitely um proud of

00:26what we were able to accomplish at syracuse you know you just look at the kids we had in the room

00:30you know kyle mccord he kind of got dumped to the wayside at ohio state after they lost to michigan

00:34and he was a guy who kind of went through the transfer portal process and didn't really have

00:38a home and he had a home at syracuse and then the guys who i inherited in my room it was a bunch of

00:43guys who were counted out doubted underappreciated and really didn't have career statistics like

00:50jackson meeks when he first left uh he spent three years at georgia he had like 10 catches 132 yards

00:55uh was that record or not records he was at syracuse for four years had 20 catches 270 yards

01:01or something like that but you know those guys they stayed down they trusted the plan they put

01:05the work in and it was a long process but at the end of the day those guys were truly bought in they

01:10got better every single day and we're able to have the best pass offense in the country and

01:13i just hope to replicate that here you know it's again kind of similar situation where you know

01:18evan stewart returns he has some production gary bryant he's played in his career before

01:21cory moore true freshman j-lo played a little bit last year but it's a bunch of guys who

01:25might not have all the accolades and the stats and the all big 10 honors and things like that

01:31but then they these are talented players and they're willing to put the work in so

01:34we're just focused on getting better every single day so i hope to kind of replicate that same thing
