00:07On FanDuel, the National League is a minus 160 favorite.

00:10The American League has the plus money price at plus 130.

00:14And the main reason you would believe that the odds are juiced as such

00:19is because the Dodgers' price is as short as it is to win a World Series at plus 210.

00:24Somehow, someway, Donnie, that price is shorter now than it was before the year.

00:29I guess that makes sense.

00:30The Dodgers have backed it up.

00:32Have they been historically trying to catch the 0-1 Mariners at 117 wins?

00:36No.

00:37Are they under their win total pace in the preseason?

00:39Yes.

00:40104.5 now at 100 and a hook.

00:42They have 58 wins this season.

00:45Are they still the best team in the National League West?

00:47Yes.

00:47By five and a half games.

00:48Do they still have the best record in the National League?

00:56So I guess that's how the price becomes even shorter.

01:08It's the National League for me.

01:09Built for playoff baseball, barring injuries, and the expectations of these

01:13teams to improve the trade deadline, my two bet on teams in the National League

01:17would be the Phillies and the Dodgers.

01:18I just think they're laid out the best worth.

01:20Like, okay, if the Phillies add another bat, or if the Phillies just get back to

01:23being normal at the plate in September, that pitching staff is going to hold up.

01:27The same thing with the Los Angeles Dodgers, as we talked about when we were going

01:30over the divisions themselves.

01:32Well, what to look for for the Dodgers?

01:33They'll make moves at the deadline, but they're going to get their pitching staff

01:36back healthy.

01:36And also, Otani's probably going to be up to starting capabilities of five to six

01:41innings by the time we hit September, and away we go.

01:44So you look at the American League.

01:45We're not slighting them.

01:46The Detroit Tigers are very good.

01:47The Yankees will be a player in there.

01:49The Houston Astros will be a player.

01:50But if you just said, Donnie, give me two teams that are probably best built for

01:54playoff baseball, it's the Dodgers and the Phillies.

01:57They're both in the National League.

01:58One of those two teams is going to be in the World Series.

02:01And then I say, okay, well, then I have the best team in the World Series.

02:05I'll go that direction here.
