00:00Everybody loves the long ball. Let's talk to homerun props for the season-long leader in 2025.

00:06They hit the most deep shots in 2025 around MLB. Our homerun prop king, Tom Vecchio, will join us

00:14in just a little bit as well. No surprise at the top, DRS number 99 in pinstripes. Aaron Judge

00:20is the favorite once again at a plus 270 price. Did lead the bigs in homeruns last year with 58.

00:27Four more than Shohei Ohtani at a plus 480 number. We expect at a certain point this season for

00:34Ohtani to be back on the bump. Maybe not right away for the Dodgers. I wonder what that does

00:39to his homerun output for Dave Roberts and company this year. Short numbers on Judge and Ohtani are

00:46two favorites to win the MVP awards in either league. And then again you get into quadruple

00:51digits. Kyle Schwarber 10-1. He had 38 last year. Jordan Alvarez a 14-1 price. Pete Alonso

00:58happy to be back up in Queens. 34 last year at a 15-1 number. DRS, you look at the homerun leaders

01:06expected for 2025 season. What do you think the best numbers look like? As follows there,

01:12of course Aaron Judge and Ohtani, American League, National League, they're going to lead the way

01:15because ballpark sometimes doesn't matter with how powerful these guys are. Shohei Ohtani, you know,

01:20let the record be known. The Los Angeles Dodgers, they play at Dodger Stadium. That's not a great

01:24hitter's ballpark by any stretch and you see the launch that he gets out of there. Aaron Judge does

01:29sit in one of the best ballparks in the country. They don't run to plus 27 at Yankee Stadium,

01:34but also understand you got to know where these guys are playing, right? Because Aaron Judge

01:37is going to play in a band box for just about his entire season, which means Boston,

01:42very hitter friendly. Yankee Stadium, very hitter friendly. Toronto with the move in fences,

01:47very hitter friendly. Oh no. Well, he does play at Tropicana Field, which is very hard to hit

01:52on runs. Oh, correct me if I'm wrong. No Tropicana Field this year. You're actually playing in the

01:56same dimensions at Yankee Stadium at Jordan Steinbrenner Field in Tampa Bay, which is where

02:00Tampa is going to be playing their games. An added boost for Aaron Judge over Shohei Ohtani. Now,

02:05if you're going down the list, as I just pointed out, it matters where you play. Kyle Schwerber

02:09sitting at a 10 to 1 price. One of the premier powerbats in baseball. He plays at Citizens Bank

02:14Park, which is a launching tank throughout the summer. And if he gets it rolling, he can easily

02:18do that. Jordan Alvarez plays in Houston, a smaller ballpark. You can certainly take advantage of that.

02:24Now, here's where we go against it. Pete Alonzo is one of the great home run hitters in Major League

02:27Baseball. Does he have to get his average up? Yes, he does. But he also plays at Citi Field,

02:32which is not a very hitter friendly ballpark, which then takes you down to Juan Soto at 26 to 1,

02:36which removes them from my equation. Now, we talked with Joe Friese behind the break here,

02:40one of our producers. Brent Rooker is an interesting one that people aren't going to

02:44talk about a lot because he plays for the Athletics. Like Tom and I talked over the

02:48weekend about Lawrence Butler for the Athletics. Like, well, most people that we're talking about,

02:51unless we say the name A's, don't even know he plays there because why should you? No focus on

02:55the Oakland Athletics. But now that they're no longer the Oakland Athletics and playing in

02:59Sacramento, heat, humidity, smaller ballpark goes into it where now you say, OK, well, Rooker played

03:05last year, half of his games in Oakland, which is a terrible hitting stadium at night in Oakland,

03:10freezing cold temperatures here, extra foul territory takes away a lot of opportunities.

03:15Now you play in the heat and humidity of a smaller ballpark. That's sort of to add to that

03:19legend like, oh, maybe he can get it done. So a wild card at 18 to 1 on Rooker. But I do think

03:24if you're looking, the top three guys, which include for me, I'd rather take judge over

03:28Tony, even though Tony is a better price. And then if I'm looking for a sort of wild card in that

03:33three hole would be Kyle Schwerber and then a longer term guy here, which would be Rooker 18 to 1.

03:37Now, there are other guys like Santander had a great year last year for the Baltimore Orioles.

03:41And again, staying in that bowl, those ballparks where it's easy to hit in that division. He might

03:46be something to take a look at there up in Toronto. Or maybe if you're just saying based on

03:50contract situation, the same team, a different player in Vladimir Guerrero Jr. at 31 to 1.

03:56Some fun options there. But again, take a look at where these players are anticipated to play

04:00this year. That goes a long way.
