Residents of Roystonia Couva are pleading with the authorities to fix a road in the area that is causing them daily frustration.
More than that, it is forcing them to dip into their pockets.

00:45state people have to put out a lot of money including me which recently I had to spend almost
00:51six thousand dollars to repair the whole front end of my vehicle and it was highlighted because

01:01us the community also has a problem of poor drainage water is not draining off properly so it leads to
01:06flooding thirdly there are poor street signs so people here come in the drive sometimes they get
01:12lost they have to find their way out because the street signs are not properly marked and so on
01:19the resident would like the issues addressed especially those that he finds to be more pressing
01:24but the main problem right now that I want to focus on is the condition of our roads and the drain
01:28and we are really really appealing to the authorities I'm not here to bash any counselor or MP but we
