00:00This is Butch Bertolome of the Business Mentor Blog.
00:30You know, as we always say, Sunday is always a refreshing day and we have right now in our midst a young girl who wants to light a candle, literally a candle, and inspire a lot of people.
00:48So ang kanyang pangalan, ang kanyang sinisimulan ay kakayanin. Kakayanin is actually we can do it.
00:58So kakayanin ph. So let's hear it from Christelle Rohano of kakayanin ph. Good morning, Christelle. Thank you for joining us this morning.
01:09Hi, good morning, sir. It's really exciting to be here.
01:13Yeah. So tell us, Christelle, before you started this kakayanin, tell us something about who is Christelle.
01:24Yeah. So Christelle was literally a daughter, a follower of Christ.
01:29Also, I was a licensed professional teacher. So I had some classroom experience, classroom teaching experience.
01:37So I was an educator. That was really my heart to help the education landscape that we have here in the Philippines in terms of really teaching the students.
01:47But for a while then, I also taught abroad. I wanted to learn about the education system on a first world country naman.
01:55So parang I wanted to see that, how their curriculum works, their facilities, et cetera.
02:00Then I went back to the Philippines and went to social development work naman po because that's where my heart and the Lord was leading me to at that season.
02:10But basically, now I'm a candle maker and workshop facilitator for our micro-business kakayanin.
02:17Right. So you really, you're out there to explore basically on what? Education? How education can matter lives or, you know, can affect and improve? Ganun ba yun?
02:31Yeah po. I think ever since I was a kid, so I was a public school, produkto po ako ng public school here in the Philippines.
02:37And I really had, parang I saw the stark differences on the quality of education we receive.
02:43Even inside the public school, parang basta magkakaiba kami ng section, actually magkakaiba din yung quality nang nakukuha namin yung education.
02:51So parang when I was growing up, I really wanted to like do something about that or at least, you know, try to make some positive changes around that landscape.
03:00And yeah, even now that we are doing it in the, like now I'm doing it as a business, siyempre mas naging micro na lang yung aming pagtulong or pagambag sa edukasyon.
03:14But still, my hope really is for Filipinos to have the quality education we deserve.
03:19So you exposed your most, you know, other countries.
03:24What countries were you exposed, Christelle?
03:27It was just one naman pa. I taught in Japan.
03:30But I was, and I was really happy.
03:32I was assigned to a public school, both junior high school and elementary schools.
03:36So I really saw...
03:37So you taught also in Japan.
03:40Tell us your experience.
03:41How do you compare, you know, the one in Japan, your experience, you taught in public.
03:48Ano naging experience mo doon, Christelle?
03:51Sobrang dami pong learnings.
03:53And to be honest, in some form or way, heartbreak.
03:56Kasi parang sabi ko, ay, kaya pala ng gobyernong supportan ng ganito sa edukasyon.
04:01And there was one story po na hindi ko talaga makalimutan on my first few weeks when I was teaching in Japan.
04:09Tinanong ako ng co-workers ko, what kind of, you know, materials do you need for teaching?
04:13Like the cardboards, the markers, the pens, etc. Ganyan.
04:17So I listed down everything and they ordered it for me.
04:21Ganun pala dun, no?
04:22I-order po pala, tapos i-hatid mismo sa desk namin in the faculty room.
04:26And that was another note, ha?
04:27In my teaching experience here in the Philippines, wala po akong faculty room, wala po akong sariling desk doon, meron.
04:34So parang ibang-iba talaga.
04:36And then anyway, when the items got to me, I went to my teacher supervisor.
04:41I had my wallet with me and some money in it.
04:44Sabi ko, how much do I owe for the materials that I ordered?
04:47And she was like, no, why are you paying?
04:50We have a budget for this every year.
04:52The English department would have a specific budget.
04:55You just tell us what you need and everything's going to be provided.
04:58And that was such a culture shock for me, who was a public school teacher here in the Philippines,
05:03who had to shell out for everything I needed and every day of my teaching years here in the Philippines.
05:11So, ayun, isang maliit na kwento lang po on how it was really different for me to see
05:16what kind of support they get in the public schools that they have there.
05:21So, how many students were there to a class?
05:23Wow, the ratio, the maximum for at least for the school that I had, the maximum was just 34 students.
05:3134?
05:32Yeah.
05:32And in the Philippines, just to give you an idea po, nung nagtuturo naman ako,
05:36my students were between 53 to up to 60 kids per classroom.
05:4253?
05:43So, medyo super dami naman yun, no?
05:47Yes.
05:47Almost 1, no?
05:49Pero,
05:49Well, I'm not speaking.
05:51Okay, fine.
05:52Each country has their own, again, likes and dislikes.
05:57But the content, what is it, the content that you notice in terms of teaching,
06:03the absorption of the students?
06:04Definitely because, like, even the physical facilities po have an effect on how the students
06:13would, you know, parang learn, really, from that environment.
06:17So, just for that, for example, for their physical education, I've realized that they literally
06:23have everything.
06:24They have a swimming pool.
06:24They have their big gymnasiums.
06:26And this was required as building codes na lahat ng school tige-tige sa sila.
06:31May swimming pool, may gymnasium, may soccer field, may track and field, et cetera.
06:35So, like, even of the hobbies or, like, the inclinations of kids, oh, I want to try kendo,
06:40I want to try table tennis, I want to try flower arrangement, et cetera, or also being catered
06:45to within school programs.
06:47So, in that sense, there is a more holistic development for the kids, as I've seen.
06:51Even their libraries and laboratories and workshops, like woodwork workshops, are literally
06:57nagagamit.
06:58Sorry, in my experience po, nung estudyante ako nung way back in 2000s, meron kaming
07:04library sa public school here in the Philippines, pero bawal humawak ng libro.
07:09Lahat ng shelf ng libro namin may, ano po, may takip, ganyan.
07:15So, parang di kami makapag-borrow ng books from our own library.
07:18So, even that, I got to enjoy. Whenever I make lessons for my students in Japan, I get
07:23to use all the facilities that there is. So, we really get to maximize their learning
07:29potentials.
07:30So, parang, you were at both ends of the world, di ba?
07:35Yes.
07:36The ruler, for example, di ba?
07:39So, parang, what were you feeling at that moment? You know, you are a Filipino, and here
07:48you are. You have an experience in teaching in public school here. You are a product of
07:52the public school. At the same time, you were exposed there. How long did you teach in Japan?
07:57I only taught for two years po. I was still offered to extend, pero it was my mental health
08:03that was taking at all at the time. Winters are hard, especially when you're far from
08:08family, no? So, that was one of the reasons why I had to go back. But yeah, at least for
08:14your question on my feelings at the time, I literally, to be honest, cried at some point
08:19whenever I realized na, grabe kaya sana yung ganito, no? If we just have, like, more support
08:25and just more focus on policies, and not just policies, but, like, how it trickles down
08:30to the classroom, and even in, like, structures of schools, or, like, even land use, yung
08:36mga ganyan. And even the support, for example, for special needs students and foreign students,
08:43that's another thing that I was able to get a first-hand experience for. We had some foreign
08:49students, like, for example, their parents migrated to Japan, so they don't speak the
08:54language, um, on a very high level yet. So, they have special classes to teach them
09:00the sciences and the maths, and even English, they're good, kasi they're foreigners, but,
09:04like, the sciences and the math, because they don't know yung malalalim na words in Japanese
09:08yet, they have specific lesson plans for them, so they're pulled out of their classrooms
09:13para mas matutunan nila yung concepts, because they don't get, they're not yet used to, like,
09:19the Japanese terms for, for very deep concepts. So, yun lang, like, how much they cater
09:25to the names of every student. They really, they really focus on the development.
09:28Yes, yes.
09:29What about the culture? Um, how, how, how was the country teaching, um, transplanting,
09:35as you say, uh, culture values to the students?
09:39I think, um, it may vary. As I say, of course, I've only lived in a, it was actually a rural
09:46prefecture in Japan. It was the least populated prefecture in Japan where I thought, so very
09:51konti talaga yung mga tao. So, in that sense, because it's not very modernized and very in
09:56the city, medyo mas communal pa lahat. So, everyone's involved. So, for example, you see
10:02outside, pag pumapasok po ako sa school, I just ride my bike, and then I would see this, uh, senior
10:08student, uh, not student, sorry, senior, um, people from the community volunteering their time in the
10:16morning to just look at the streets and let student pass para walang masasagasaan, nakakatawid yung
10:23mga bata ng maayos, at nakakarating kasi, syempre, meron pa rin namang dangers, even if it's
10:28Japan, there could be kidnapping, some sexual harassment around the community, and yung
10:32minsan nga po, the dangers would be literal bears coming from the mountains dahil winter
10:37tapos bababa sa mga streets because walang makain sa, ano. So, may mga ganon po na even
10:42the communities, the senior ones, uh, retired people are helping also into trying to keep
10:49the school community safe, and yun, that also adds to, for me, to the holistic development
10:55of kids, they see how these people are involved in their everyday learning, too.
11:00So, that now, with that kind of exposure, did you ever feel the challenge now? What was the
11:07challenge that was being tossed to you, uh, Christelle?
11:12At the time, um, I really thought I would like to pursue something about, um, curriculum
11:17development po, here in the Philippines. I also liked how, kasi in, in, in that, um, education
11:24landscape that they had, yung pong subjects nila, not everyday, for example, or like,
11:28they only have, like, six subjects in a day. Tapos parang hindi siya talaga, hindi siya
11:33fixed, actually. Like, for us here in the Philippines, usually the period times of subjects are
11:38fixed, like, English, math, science, sunod-sunod. So, kanila po, parang they really cater to
11:43the, like, needs of this or this, or there are subjects na three times a week lang. There
11:48are subjects na, yes, may everyday. Um, so I really like that idea. Um, so I really wanted to look
11:54into that, but in some form of way, medyo nahatak po ako into a different call at the
12:00time, and it was, uh, for the sexual development work. There was still a little bit part of
12:05it na medyo helping the curriculum. Uh, it was during, also, the time that the K-12 was
12:10still new. So, there were no materials here in the Philippines. Um, if you know po, that
12:16noon, no, meron tayong mother tongue-based learning. Ngayon, nawala na uli. But for
12:21the mother tongue-based, uh, sir, Boots, there are only 12, um, languages na nagawan ng
12:27ating department ng mga reading materials. Meaning, but we have more, hundreds of
12:32languages here in the Philippines. So, there are major languages na walang libro yung mga
12:36bata. Wala silang kwentong mabasa sa ganong lingwahe. Pero yun yung tinuturo. So,
12:41parang, for example, those were Minasbate, Kinaraya, Hiligaynon. Um, so, that was
12:48the, um, work that I did, or at least helped when I went back now in the
12:52Philippines for social development work. Working on those, uh, learning materials,
12:56um, in specific languages that didn't have, um, reading materials for kinder to
13:01grade three. And also working, uh, alongside yun nga po, uh, local chief executives,
13:07private sector, and parents and community to rally their support. Kung
13:11baga po, sa LGU, ang hinihiling namin nun, ilagay naman po natin sa, ano, sa, uh,
13:16annual plans ng mismong LGU natin yung budget for kinder to grade three. Kasi yun po yung
13:22napapabayaan palaging medyo senior high yung nabibigyan ng scholarship, ng mga, ano,
13:27kasi, to be honest, yun po yung mga, uh, edad na boboto na. So, yung mga kinder to
13:33grade three po, um, medyo nandun tayo sa hindi pa nakakapagbasa, hindi
13:37nakakapagsulat, hindi nakakapag-arithmetic, pero umaabot na po ng high school. So,
13:43nandun po yung project-project po lang. Yeah. Considering, yeah, considering,
13:47Christelle, uh, those are the formative years, right? Definitely. Foundational
13:51years talaga po. You know, very, very foundational. The start of a foundation of a person.
13:58Late ka na.
14:00Taggered na yung lateness ng bata.
14:02So, yeah, yun po yung we work on namin.
14:04That really is something like a challenge to you.
14:09So, ngayon, mapunta tayo.
14:12Eh, paano ka na mapunta dito sa kakayanin?
14:16Mukhang mayroong marami kang hugot.
14:19Yan, Christelle.
14:21Yes po.
14:22So, actually, the name was the battle cry of myself and my husband.
14:27He was then a boyfriend.
14:29Sabay po kasi kaming pumasok dun sa public school in 2016, I think.
14:35Yeah, 2016 up to 2018.
14:37And every time we face challenges,
14:39yung wala naman kami magawa, pero everyday, babangon ka pa rin para sa mga bata.
14:44So, our battle cry was kakayanin.
14:46And even now, nakasal na po kami.
14:48We're now working on like, siya po macro level na kasi policies na yung ginagawa niya.
14:53Ako naman po nasa business na.
14:55Yun pa rin po yung battle cry namin.
14:57And actually, that was the only word engraved in our rings.
15:01O hindi yung date na masal namin, hindi yung nakakayanin namin.
15:04Ang naka-engrave po, kakayanin.
15:05Kumbaga, how meaningful ha?
15:08I mean, talagang true to word, true to heart, di ba?
15:12Para bang, kumbaga, hindi lang ito pang negosyo, pang pamilya, pang legacy.
15:19Yes, it was really not a business name at all.
15:22It was just our battle cry for everyday personal and professional challenges, to be honest.
15:26Yeah, because I think that's something that your generation really is now in vibe.
15:32You know, this is something that you now see the micro and the macro approach of what's going on.
15:42But you have focus actually on education because that really matters, di ba?
15:46Yeah.
15:47Madali na yung iba-iba eh, di ba?
15:49Pero kung basic education ay very weak ang foundation, hindi kakayanin, di ba?
15:57Yes, it's really true.
15:59For me, I've said this in other interviews before.
16:03For me, education released the key to see other societal changes or dreams that we have.
16:09Parang kung hindi edukasyon talaga yung inaayos kahit yung problems, for example, in poverty, in like teenage pregnancy,
16:19or like every other issues, it boils down to the quality of education we get.
16:24Because if we have a more educated population, we'll get to do better choices talaga for ourselves and for the country.
16:33Hindi, especially now, considering that we have now social media.
16:38Yeah.
16:39The social media, it's another challenge, no?
16:43Because a lot of people say, bakit pa ako mag-aaral?
16:48It's party na lang.
16:49I'm sure you can't put a word of that.
16:54People would say, discarte or education, di ba?
16:59Marami naman dyan na successful na hindi nakapag-aaral but naging bilyo na.
17:03That's true.
17:04That's true.
17:04So, this is something that I think you are now imbibing.
17:08So, how did you begin this kakayanin?
17:11Paano mo sinimulan nito?
17:13I'm so interested in.
17:15You are now focusing on,
17:17Oy, may ganda, ha?
17:18Oy, ha?
17:18May tumating sa akin, ha?
17:20Sabihin ko sa inyo, yan, ha?
17:22Ang parang kayo dito, pagsusubok.
17:25Ha?
17:26Pagsusubok.
17:27Parang, you know what?
17:28Your product tells a story, eh.
17:31Mm-hmm.
17:33Di ba?
17:33May story kang ginagamit.
17:38Your medium is not a battle cry on the streets,
17:42but your medium is a battle cry using candles.
17:46Bakit candle?
17:48To be honest, I also didn't have any inclination on this product yet.
17:52Well, for one, I do like fragrances po.
17:55Pero asthmatic kasi ako.
17:57Oo, man.
17:58Di ba?
17:59Lahat po nang parang commercially available.
18:01So, in some form of way,
18:03nakaka-trigger siya sa asthma ko.
18:05So, kahit mahilig akong magsisinghot ng mababango,
18:08hindi ko sila na-enjoy lagi.
18:10Kasi a lot of them,
18:11I don't know, for some reason,
18:12it might be the materials,
18:14it might be the production,
18:15hindi okay sa lungs ko.
18:17So, that's one reason, I guess.
18:19Another po is,
18:20it was actually when I was still in Japan,
18:22na nagtuturo po ako,
18:23in one of my quiet times with the Lord,
18:26I was reading the Bible.
18:28And he focused on Matthew 14 to 16.
18:31He was speaking there about
18:33being a light that should not be hidden.
18:37Correct.
18:38And that was,
18:39a light on the hill should not be hidden.
18:42For hide your lamp, di ba?
18:44Yes.
18:45So, at the time,
18:46I was just asking,
18:47Lord, am I not creating light enough?
18:49I'm teaching literally people.
18:51I mean,
18:51I thought like my teaching career
18:53was already giving light,
18:54but para lang po siyang burden sa heart ko
18:57na ano yung light na pinapagawa ng Lord?
18:59Ano yung light na pinapagawa?
19:00Na huwag ko daw ipago.
19:02And then that was the point po,
19:03because it was pre-pandemic na at that time.
19:06The,
19:07in the US pala,
19:09the home,
19:10parang,
19:11home-based candle makers were booming.
19:14Parang the businesses na home-based.
19:16So, basta napunta na lang po ako in YouTube
19:18and Facebook groups actually,
19:20on candle makers na home-based.
19:22And I learned a lot
19:23because I was really curious about it.
19:25But,
19:26I was still in Japan.
19:27I didn't want to buy materials there yet.
19:29Medyo mahal.
19:30But also,
19:30sabi ko,
19:31I'm not gonna stay in Japan long,
19:33so I don't want to buy materials or tools here.
19:35That's sabi ko,
19:36Lord,
19:36feeling ko,
19:37hindi naman ito.
19:37Hindi naman siguro literal na ilaw
19:39ang pinapagawa mo sa akin.
19:41Baka iba't.
19:42But the Lord didn't allow me to be at peace,
19:45to be honest.
19:45Umuwi na po ako dito.
19:47Nag-social development work ako.
19:48Tapos sabi ko,
19:49ito na yung,
19:49ito na yung liwanag natin there do.
19:51Tapos parang sabi,
19:52hindi pa rin,
19:52hindi pa rin.
19:54Tapos buhabalik lang po talaga lagi yung,
19:55um,
19:56yung idea ng pagkakandila.
19:58Tapos ang,
19:59ang back and forth ko nga po nun sa Lord,
20:01Lord,
20:02nag-education degree pa ako.
20:04Pinaglaban ko pa sa parents ko to.
20:06Ayaw po kasi nila ako mag-teacher noon
20:07kasi nga hikain ako.
20:09Mapapagod daw po ako.
20:10At ikaw mamatay ko daw.
20:12So sabi ko,
20:13pinaglaban ko pa to Lord.
20:14Ang tagal ko sa college
20:15because I had to shift from pharmacy.
20:17I was a pre-med po.
20:18Or I really wanted to be a teacher.
20:19Oh, you're supposed to take,
20:20you're supposed to be a farmer,
20:23ano,
20:24become a farmer.
20:26Ano po yun,
20:27nag-three years na po ako sa pharma.
20:29Pag-graduate na po ako,
20:30pero hindi talaga kaya ng puso ko,
20:32sabi ko sa parents ko,
20:33pang ano po ako,
20:34pang turo ako,
20:35maapa.
20:36So another three years po sa education.
20:39So sabi ko,
20:39Lord,
20:40pinayagan mong mangyari yun,
20:41dapat ngayon parang gusto mo
20:43magkandila ako out of nowhere.
20:44And it was the time that...
20:46Contrary to your health, no?
20:47Para ba nga,
20:50eh,
20:50hikain ako eh,
20:51paano mga makakasinghot
20:53ng candle at usok,
20:55di ba?
20:56Oo.
20:56But that was one of the things
20:58I learned din po.
20:59I can make safe
21:00and clean candles
21:02if I just know the materials to use,
21:04if I really research about
21:06good raw materials.
21:07Now,
21:08the candles that I make
21:09do not trigger my asthma
21:10and I get to enjoy them.
21:11So I'm really happy.
21:13But yeah,
21:13it just really started
21:14with a nudge from the Lord
21:15na hindi po ako pinatahimik
21:17kahit may full-time job na ako.
21:19So it came to a point na
21:21I was telling my managers na,
21:23oh,
21:23I'll be quitting.
21:24I think I really need to do this.
21:25This is a task.
21:26I really felt it was a task
21:28that the Lord was giving me.
21:29Sabi,
21:30tas mga one year po yun,
21:31di nila ako pinatayagang mag-quit
21:32kasi the project was still ongoing.
21:35But yeah,
21:36eventually when they didn't supported it
21:38and also my husband supported my decision,
21:40that's where we started.
21:41But all of the candles
21:44that we make po,
21:44as you mentioned,
21:45would always tell a story
21:46or support a certain cause.
21:48We don't just release candles
21:49or make recipes
21:50na parang,
21:52ito pa bang walang ganyan?
21:53We don't want that.
21:54We really want it to be a...
21:55May story ang bawat kandila.
21:58Di ba?
21:59Para ba sinabi mo,
22:00yung paalaala ng Pasko,
22:02anako,
22:03eh,
22:03iiyak ang mga OFGa ba ito dito?
22:06Hindi ba?
22:08Masyado mong nakurot ang puso nila,
22:10Christelle?
22:11Di ba?
22:12Kasi,
22:12para bang,
22:14if I,
22:14well,
22:14I used to be an OFW,
22:16you know,
22:16and the feeling,
22:18I know the feeling
22:18of your family
22:20and the hardship of people
22:24and ito kasi,
22:26Christelle,
22:27ala-ala ng Pasko,
22:29hindi lang Christmas songs,
22:31no?
22:31Para yung amoy.
22:33Di ba?
22:34Yung ganon.
22:35So,
22:35ang dami mong,
22:35ang dami palang ginawang,
22:37ano, no?
22:37Ang dami yung ginawang mga pagkakayanin,
22:40kakalma,
22:41pagsusubok,
22:43tataya.
22:44Di ba?
22:45Parang,
22:46paano mo,
22:47paano mo ginawa ito still?
22:49Paano mo,
22:50paano mo mag-arrive nito?
22:52Uh-huh.
22:53For that specific collection,
22:55Sir Boots,
22:55sorry,
22:55hindi ko lang nabigay yung whole collection eh,
22:57kasi na-sold out two tayo recently,
23:00but...
23:00Wow,
23:00very good.
23:01Pwede ka nga pala,
23:02bago kayo mag,
23:03bago tayo,
23:04bago tayo,
23:05makalimutan ninyo,
23:07saan ka nga pala pwedeng contact hin
23:09at our viewers,
23:11probably locally or international,
23:14may want to get in touch with you.
23:16Saan nga?
23:17Well,
23:17we're very active po on Facebook and Instagram,
23:20so we are kakayanin space ph on Facebook
23:23and on Instagram at kakayanin underscore ph
23:27and also on TikTok.
23:29Kaya lang medyo tita ako,
23:30hindi masyadong active sa TikTok,
23:32but we're also there po.
23:33They can order from us directly.
23:36Yeah,
23:37so we usually do orders directly po
23:39kasi para less on the e-commerce fee,
23:42more donation to our causes.
23:44Oh,
23:44yan,
23:45maganda ha.
23:45Teka,
23:46yan,
23:46so that's a commercial break
23:47para sa ating mga viewers
23:50at nakikinig na,
23:53gusto kong tumulong,
23:54gusto kong tumulong yan.
23:55Okay,
23:55so let's go back to yung sinasabi mo
23:58na paano ka nagtribe nito
24:00mga storyang kandila.
24:02O paano ka nagtribe nito?
24:05That collection,
24:06Sir Boots,
24:07ang dati ko pa dapat i-release yan,
24:09meron lang talaga tayong yung parang,
24:11alam mo yun,
24:12nababanguhan naman na ako,
24:13pero iniisip ko,
24:14baka the other people might not like it.
24:15So I just really released it this year po.
24:18But basically,
24:19that was the story of me quitting my full-time job po.
24:22Or like me,
24:23parang heeding to the Lord's call nga,
24:25na yun,
24:26it's okay,
24:27do this business,
24:28and I'll take care of the rest.
24:29So a lot of,
24:31as I mentioned kanina,
24:31nagbaback and forth po ako sa Lord eh,
24:33kahit inuutos na niya,
24:34parang nagmamatigas pa ako.
24:36But he helped me calm down,
24:39really get to a state of trusting Him,
24:42and really taking that step of faith with Him.
24:44Kaya po yung unang kandila ay kakalma.
24:46It's really a calming,
24:48very pure kind of scent po.
24:50It's a clean scent na parang,
24:52it really quiets down the worries that I had,
24:56the parang negative thoughts that I had,
24:58kasi our economy back then wasn't good.
25:00So sabi ko,
25:01ha,
25:01talaga ba magbe-business tayo,
25:02Lord?
25:03Parang,
25:04ang mahal-mahal nga ng sibuyas that time.
25:07So parang,
25:07Oo nga,
25:08yung takot,
25:08di ba?
25:09Yung takot.
25:10Takot sa panahon,
25:12takot sa sarili,
25:13at takot sa alanganin.
25:14Oo.
25:15At wala po talaga akong business background.
25:17Talagang sabi ko,
25:18Lord,
25:18hindi ko nga,
25:19ano yung taxes?
25:20Ano yung mga financial statement?
25:21Ano yung advertising?
25:23Wala po talaga.
25:24So there's really a lot of things going on in my head,
25:26but the Lord helped me calm down
25:27and that's what we are trying to evoke
25:30on that first candle kakalma.
25:32Yung pangalawa po,
25:33susubok,
25:34ito na yung panahon na,
25:36I kind of,
25:36already took the step of faith,
25:38nagkukwit na tayo sa job natin,
25:42but,
25:42nandun pa rin yung kilig.
25:44Ito na yung kinikilig na ako na,
25:45bumibili na ako ng materials,
25:47may,
25:48meron ng ligaya and joy talaga
25:50na nag-spark sa akin while doing it.
25:52Whenever I have failed testings,
25:54there are a lot of failed testings
25:55in candle making
25:56and when you like get a good recipe,
25:59it was like,
25:59sobrang ano,
26:00yung pagsusubok po namin,
26:02yung susubok era namin
26:03was really the trial and error
26:05in terms of making
26:07or establishing this small business.
26:10And lastly,
26:11yung tataya.
26:12Ito na po,
26:12pinayagan na ang aking,
26:14ano,
26:15ang aking resignation.
26:17Wala na akong HMO,
26:18wala na akong 13th month pay,
26:20wala na akong regular pay.
26:21It was really,
26:23pinaya ko na po lahat,
26:24kumbaga,
26:26ang biro ko nga po sa asawa ka na,
26:27bubuhayan mo naman ako,
26:28di ba?
26:29Hindi naman tayo magutom,
26:30di ba?
26:31But yeah,
26:31he did.
26:32And the Lord was so gracious.
26:35I didn't expect it,
26:36but we received a lot of support,
26:38even some corporate clients,
26:40even on our first few months.
26:42So parang,
26:44really when you,
26:45when I realized then,
26:46when you follow the Lord's calling,
26:48wala ka naman talagang lugi.
26:50So,
26:51that was that,
26:52that is that series po,
26:53yung kakalmasusubok tataya.
26:55And I hope to evoke that,
26:56kasi I know,
26:57hindi man same nung kwento ko,
26:58may ganitong mga pivot sa buhay
27:00ang bawat Pilipino,
27:01ang bawat tao.
27:02Na parang they would need to calm down
27:05and try,
27:06and then just go out on faith
27:09and follow whatever they are tasked to do.
27:13So,
27:14nasa'na yung,
27:15yung,
27:15yung journey?
27:17Okay?
27:18You have already done,
27:19pagsusubok,
27:20kakalmasusubok,
27:22tataya.
27:24Nasa'na ngayon?
27:25I noticed that you're also doing some training.
27:28You're also inviting a lot of people,
27:31communities.
27:33Paano mo nagawa yun?
27:35So,
27:36that one naman po,
27:36I think really,
27:38I,
27:38one of my friends before,
27:40in also a business training,
27:42so,
27:43medyo hayok po ako nun sa business training,
27:44lahat ng libre sinasalihan ko,
27:46kagaya nga po niyang VPI,
27:47Sega,
27:48ganyan.
27:48So,
27:49wala akong background.
27:50So,
27:50in one of my very first trainings,
27:52I had this friend po,
27:54may sarili na siyang pwesto
27:56for handicrafts,
27:58ganyan.
27:59And she was asked by
28:00a partner mall
28:01na parang,
28:03they were given like a spot in the mall
28:05and sabi,
28:06uy,
28:06magpa-workshop naman kayo
28:08para may activity within the mall,
28:10ganyan.
28:10Pero libre,
28:11walang bayad.
28:12And naalala po yun itong kaibigan kong to,
28:14it's Ross of Manila Cactus,
28:16actually.
28:16Hi,
28:16Ross.
28:17If you see this,
28:18she encouraged me
28:20na sabi niya,
28:21di ba nabanggit mo dun sa plans,
28:23business plans
28:23that we were doing
28:24in the classes
28:25that we had
28:25na parang,
28:26you wanted to teach the candle making
28:27because yun nga,
28:28you realize,
28:29as an asthmatic,
28:30it's really,
28:30it's just finding the right,
28:32the right
28:33raw materials,
28:35ganyan,
28:35and how to do
28:36candle making safely
28:37kasi ang dami pong
28:38misconceptions around it,
28:39to be honest.
28:40It's both an art and science
28:42and it was really exciting
28:43to learn
28:43but a lot of people
28:45doesn't know about it.
28:46So parang,
28:46I really wanted to get
28:47that information out
28:49na,
28:49guys,
28:49ganito yung safe.
28:51Hindi lang siya yung mga
28:52TikTok videos
28:53na magtutunaw lang tayo
28:54tapos halo na agad.
28:55Medyo delikado po
28:57to some point.
28:58So,
28:58so she encouraged me,
28:59sabi niya,
29:00oh,
29:00mag-workshop daw tayo
29:01kaya lang libre.
29:03Sabi ko,
29:03naku,
29:03wala pa akong pera.
29:04Pakwit pa lang po ako
29:05nito sa trabaho ko.
29:06Wala pa akong tools,
29:07di ko kaya.
29:08Pero sabi niya,
29:09may sinabi po siya
29:10saan which really
29:11pushed me to go there.
29:13Sabi niya,
29:14pero gagawin mo din naman,
29:15di ba?
29:16Bakit hindi pa ngayon?
29:18So,
29:18when,
29:19when she,
29:20alalim yun.
29:21That's very beautiful.
29:22Oh,
29:22parang,
29:23encouraged din po ako.
29:25I was really scared
29:26but I was encouraged
29:26because I know
29:27I wanted to do it
29:28but at that time
29:29I was just,
29:30I had excuses.
29:31I didn't have the money,
29:32ganyan, ganyan, ganyan.
29:33But when I looked into it,
29:34all my excuses
29:35had solutions.
29:36So,
29:37it was just really
29:38a matter of prioritizing
29:39what we needed to do
29:40and lo and behold,
29:42when I said yes
29:43to her,
29:44that was our pilot
29:45first ever workshop.
29:46The only,
29:47the only free one
29:48we ever did
29:49kasi after po nun,
29:50paid na lahat
29:51ng workshops namin.
29:52Wow.
29:52the feedback
29:55was really good.
29:56The materials
29:57that we have given
29:58them
29:58on the flow
29:59kasi nga,
30:00I think the teacher
30:01factor was really there.
30:02They really said na parang,
30:04parang,
30:04parang,
30:04parang,
30:04parang,
30:04first time,
30:05what they are saying
30:06the first time.
30:07It was really well explained.
30:08It was really well designed.
30:10They said,
30:10so,
30:11that really encouraged me
30:12and I really have to
30:13thank my education
30:13background for that.
30:15I think I know
30:15how to really
30:16design a good class
30:18in a sense.
30:19So,
30:20from there,
30:20everything fell into place,
30:23Christelle.
30:24Yeah.
30:24You know what this,
30:25you're like a puzzle,
30:27right?
30:27I mean,
30:27when we work on a puzzle,
30:29we look at it first
30:30and say,
30:30how do each fit?
30:36Where is the proper?
30:38Diba?
30:38But you have an open mind
30:40to discern
30:43and really listen
30:46to the call.
30:48And some people,
30:50like your friend,
30:51Ross,
30:51gave you a push.
30:54And...
30:54Maganda, no?
30:55I mean,
30:56ang gaganda ng
30:57kapag lahat
30:58para sinabi,
30:59kakayanin nga,
31:00talaga lahat, no?
31:01Para bag...
31:01Every step of the way.
31:03It was just like,
31:04kakayanin ba?
31:05Tapos mapupunta po
31:06sa kakayanin naman.
31:07Tapos kakayanin ba uli?
31:08Kakayanin pa rin.
31:09It was just really...
31:11Sorry, kid.
31:12So,
31:12okay.
31:14So, ngayon,
31:14nagtuturo ka ngayon.
31:15But,
31:16come to the point of it,
31:17ang dami nagtuturo
31:18ng candle making.
31:19Yes, po.
31:21How did you separate yourself
31:22from,
31:23you know,
31:24being unique?
31:25People would say,
31:25alam ko na yan,
31:26takita ko na,
31:27nakitubuhan ng candle,
31:28eh,
31:28o,
31:29ganoon.
31:30That's true.
31:31And some would even say
31:32they can get the information
31:33for free,
31:34to be honest,
31:35like YouTube,
31:35TikTok,
31:36et cetera,
31:36di ba?
31:37So, as you mentioned,
31:38po.
31:38Siguro,
31:39one of the things is that
31:40we really try to explain
31:43na candle making
31:44is both an art
31:45and a science.
31:46And if you're just gonna
31:47be focusing on art,
31:49you might make
31:50unsafe candles.
31:51And we emphasize
31:52that candles are
31:53already a fire hazard
31:55in itself.
31:56Siya palang
31:57fire hazard na siya.
31:58It's a product
31:59that is literally
32:00a fire starter.
32:01So,
32:02if you're not really
32:03keen into the
32:04wick sizing
32:05or like the proper ratio
32:07of oils and waxes,
32:09et cetera,
32:10you might really make
32:11a product
32:12or an item
32:13that you will give
32:14that would be
32:15a hazard to the people
32:16that will use it.
32:17So,
32:17that's one.
32:18We really try to emphasize
32:20that what we teach
32:21is the safe way
32:22of making candles
32:23and looking for
32:24the right materials
32:25to do that.
32:26another po siguro,
32:27I've actually enrolled
32:28myself to other
32:29candle making classes
32:30because,
32:30siyempre,
32:31as a lifelong learner,
32:32I really have to
32:33learn from others
32:34to not only
32:35the online ones.
32:37Even just three weeks ago,
32:38I enrolled to another one
32:39just so I could learn
32:40another technique
32:41that I haven't
32:42really explored.
32:43So,
32:44one of the things
32:45I'm realizing so far
32:46is I'm not sure
32:48really if we're
32:49the solo one yet
32:50here in the Philippines,
32:51but I think we're
32:51the only ones
32:52so far offering
32:53like a specific
32:55part of the workshop
32:56for fragrance blending.
32:58This is one of the
32:59common,
33:00ano po,
33:01tanong sa mga
33:02beginning candle makers
33:04or just enthusiasts
33:05na parang,
33:06ano ba yung mga amoy
33:06na masarap
33:07or mabango pagsamahin?
33:09Kasi saan,
33:10they just buy,
33:11yeah,
33:11they just buy oil,
33:12buy oil,
33:13buy oil,
33:13tapos parang,
33:14pag naamoy na nila,
33:15ay,
33:15it doesn't go well,
33:16so nasasayang yung pera.
33:18So,
33:18part of our workshops po
33:19is actually exploring that
33:21and we have a really good
33:22collection of scents.
33:23At least,
33:24they don't have to pay
33:25or like buy
33:26all of those scents.
33:28But because we have
33:29a fragrance exploration
33:30and fragrance blending
33:31part on our workshops,
33:33they now get to identify
33:35what fragrance families
33:36they like,
33:37what fragrance families
33:38they don't like,
33:39what types of fragrance families
33:41go together
33:42or might not go together.
33:44So,
33:44yun po yung isa din
33:45sa maraming feedback
33:46sa workshops namin.
33:47Naya-enjoy nila yun
33:48kasi
33:48with that knowledge now,
33:50they don't have to blind buy.
33:52Yung parang manghula ako na
33:53this oil
33:55or this flower
33:56or this citrus
33:57might go well together.
33:58Hindi na tayo manghula.
33:59May knowledge ka na
34:00on how to
34:01pair well
34:02and blend well.
34:03So,
34:04ayun po.
34:05You attended
34:05and you're one of the top 10,
34:07I believe,
34:08that of the
34:09Bayan Academy.
34:11Top 20 lang,
34:12Sir Boots.
34:12Top 20.
34:13Pero,
34:13I mean,
34:15siguro,
34:16ano yung mga natutunan mo
34:18sa Bayan Academy?
34:20Na talagang tumatak
34:22sa iyong isip?
34:24There's really a lot.
34:26I still mention this
34:28that
34:28the Bayan Academy
34:29trainings that I've had
34:31or really
34:31are the first
34:32formal ones
34:33that I've had
34:34for businesses.
34:36Pinaka-basic na lang,
34:37Sir Boots,
34:38yung business canvas
34:39and the business planning.
34:40I really
34:41started this business
34:42to be honest
34:43without specific goals,
34:45without
34:45specific financial goals
34:47or like
34:48non-financial goals.
34:49hindi rin nga po
34:51kung sumisilip
34:51sa financials
34:52namin nando.
34:54So yung mga
34:54ganun po
34:55and also like
34:57what was that term?
35:00In terms of marketing
35:01and trying to grow,
35:03for example,
35:04po,
35:05kasi nga dahil
35:06in some form of way
35:07this is like
35:08a passion project
35:09for us
35:10na parang
35:10this is just out of
35:11the desire of the Lord
35:12that He wants us
35:14to pursue.
35:15But I'm realizing na
35:16this business
35:17could do good.
35:18It could also
35:19give opportunities
35:20to others
35:20like maybe
35:21some form of
35:22livelihood or support.
35:23So through
35:24Bayan Academy's
35:25training,
35:26I was more exposed
35:27to like
35:27how to manage
35:28that in a sense
35:29that when we get
35:30to grow to that point,
35:31I get to get to
35:32employ,
35:33I get to manage
35:34other people
35:35or give employment.
35:37Now I have that
35:37backbone knowledge
35:39po of like
35:40how to handle
35:41manpower,
35:41operations,
35:42et cetera.
35:43Even though some
35:44standardization,
35:45kahit one woman
35:46team pa lang po ako,
35:47the standardization
35:48of our operations,
35:50our inventory,
35:50I was able to learn
35:52from Bayan Academy
35:53and BPI Sales
35:54segas din po.
35:55Another thing
35:56I really appreciate
35:57is the personal
35:58development at the
35:59beginning.
36:00Their training
36:00wasn't just focused
36:01on business concepts,
36:02right?
36:02They were also focused
36:03on like developing
36:05the entrepreneur first
36:06because of course
36:07it's,
36:08yun yung mahalaga
36:09din eh.
36:10Yeah,
36:10the mindset
36:11of an entrepreneur.
36:12But also again,
36:15looking at community
36:16as well,
36:16no?
36:17Di ba?
36:17Yes.
36:19Because you can
36:19sell candles,
36:20yeah,
36:21you can sell candles
36:21but you don't know
36:22your target market,
36:24your audience,
36:24your company,
36:26din wala rin,
36:27no?
36:27So,
36:28where is now
36:30the progress
36:31that you are now
36:32looking?
36:32Where is the journey
36:34that you are now
36:35focusing on,
36:36Christelle,
36:37in the next,
36:38probably the next
36:39two years?
36:40Well,
36:41of course,
36:42the lifelong
36:42learning doesn't
36:43stop,
36:44so I have been
36:45actively enrolling
36:46really to more
36:46candle technique
36:48workshops po.
36:50There is a hope
36:50to be certified,
36:52kaya lang medyo mahal yun
36:53and it's in another
36:53country that I have
36:54to get to be a
36:55certified candle
36:56master.
36:58That's their hope
36:58then,
36:59so I could bring
36:59those kind of
37:00learnings here
37:01in the Philippines.
37:01I think there's
37:02only a couple
37:03here in the Philippines
37:04who are candle
37:05masters,
37:05pero hindi pa sila
37:08actively teaching,
37:09so that is my hope
37:10since that is now
37:11one of the big
37:12focuses on our
37:13business is doing
37:14the workshops
37:15and teaching it.
37:16I wanted to get
37:16certified on that po.
37:18And also,
37:19because hindi lang din
37:20kami,
37:21there's also a clamor
37:23really on teaching
37:24more candle classes
37:25and having classes
37:27specific for those
37:28who want to pursue
37:29it as a business
37:30too.
37:31Actually,
37:32din din po natutuwa
37:33yung ibang attendees
37:34namin.
37:34Pagka gusto nilang
37:35mag-business,
37:36hindi nila kailangang
37:37itago sa akin.
37:38I specifically
37:39really parang
37:41I push them
37:42to do it
37:42kasi for me
37:43it's a handcraft.
37:45So even if I
37:45tell them,
37:47oh,
37:47these are my suppliers,
37:48this is like
37:49how I do my candles,
37:50this is still a handcraft.
37:51It's just like
37:52baking or cooking.
37:53We have different
37:54recipes.
37:55Depende na lang
37:56if nanakawin nila
37:57recipe book ko,
37:58dun lang nilang
37:59magagawa the same
37:59candles I'll make.
38:00But as long as
38:01you make your own
38:04fragrances,
38:05blends,
38:06your own ratios,
38:07et cetera,
38:08sabi ko,
38:09we'll make quality
38:10products but
38:11very different
38:11stories,
38:12very different
38:13scents.
38:14So parang
38:15ako po,
38:15hindi ako madamot
38:16dun.
38:16I even give them,
38:18yun nga,
38:18kahit suppliers,
38:19hindi ko tinatago.
38:20So that's another
38:21goal for us
38:22that we might
38:23now separate
38:24soon the
38:25classes that are
38:26specifically for
38:27those who are
38:27leaning towards
38:28making it into a
38:29business.
38:29kasi mas marami
38:30po silang tanong
38:31especially in
38:32costing,
38:32ganyan,
38:33or like
38:34inventory.
38:36And then for
38:36others,
38:37housewives naman,
38:38yung mga
38:38probably want to
38:40make it a
38:40hobby,
38:41and tune,
38:43that's another
38:44class,
38:45right?
38:45So yun.
38:46Yes,
38:46oto.
38:47But where is
38:48your,
38:48is your
38:49advocacy still
38:50there?
38:50I mean,
38:51helping in
38:52the education?
38:53Yes po,
38:54definitely.
38:55Actually,
38:55our hope
38:56before was
38:56really,
38:57every year,
38:58baka iba-ibang
38:59foundation yung
38:59masupport ganyan.
39:00But there
39:01is always be,
39:02the hope is
39:03there would
39:03always be at
39:03least one
39:04scholar to be
39:05sent to
39:05school every
39:05year.
39:06Yan nga po,
39:07kaya nilalagay ko
39:07lagi yung word
39:08na at least,
39:09kasi baka
39:09ang bigay ng
39:10Lord,
39:10tatlo,
39:11lima,
39:11yun yung goal
39:12natin.
39:13How does it
39:14work?
39:15How does it
39:15work?
39:16So for every
39:16workshop that
39:17you have?
39:18We commit a
39:20portion of our
39:20proceeds to that
39:22and also yun nga,
39:23when we release
39:24scandals,
39:24it's always for
39:25that fundraising
39:26or for that,
39:27kaya to be
39:28honest,
39:28our products
39:29aren't cheap,
39:30our workshops
39:30aren't really
39:31the cheapest.
39:32They could
39:32find cheaper
39:33workshops but
39:34maybe that's
39:35one thing that
39:36we could be
39:36proud of aside
39:37from our
39:37advocacies and
39:38the help that
39:38we do,
39:39of course,
39:39is the quality
39:40of the materials
39:41and learnings
39:41that they'll
39:42get from us
39:42kasi as a
39:43teacher and
39:44also a
39:44learner from
39:45different workshops
39:46before,
39:47I really try to
39:48improve the
39:48contents of
39:49our workshop
39:52in a sense
39:53that after
39:53they've gone
39:54through this,
39:54they would
39:54really have
39:55the confidence
39:55to make
39:56their own
39:56candles and
39:57even get
39:57to a
39:58business too.
39:59So,
40:01okay,
40:02fine,
40:02fantastic,
40:03from being a
40:04public school
40:06product to being
40:07a host and
40:08now you have,
40:10maganda,
40:10no?
40:10I think you
40:12and your
40:12husband are
40:13really having
40:13a very nice
40:14journey and
40:16with this
40:17word kakayanin,
40:18it's always
40:19saying you
40:20cannot surrender
40:21because there's
40:22always the word
40:23kakayanin,
40:24and the analogy
40:29of having a
40:30candle is
40:32like you
40:32probably the
40:33Lord is telling
40:34you,
40:34this is the
40:35candle that I
40:35want you,
40:36this is the
40:37lamp that I'm
40:38telling you not
40:38to hide,
40:39right?
40:39And you're,
40:40you know,
40:40you keep on
40:41telling a lot
40:42of people,
40:43you're sharing
40:45knowledge,
40:45no?
40:46one thing
40:47nice is
40:48actually you're
40:49sharing freely
40:50your knowledge,
40:51even your
40:52suppliers,
40:53no?
40:53Giving a
40:54chance for
40:54people to
40:55be,
40:55to establish
40:56their own
40:57niche,
40:58you know?
41:00So,
41:01yun.
41:01So,
41:02okay,
41:02lastly,
41:03siguro,
41:04for people
41:05like you
41:06who are
41:06probably,
41:07there are so
41:07many people
41:08who are in
41:08crossroads
41:09right now
41:11in their
41:11career,
41:13in their
41:14education,
41:15probably like
41:15you,
41:16used to be,
41:17supposed to be
41:17a pharmacist,
41:19but again,
41:20turned around
41:21and became a
41:21social development
41:24person.
41:25What would you
41:26advise,
41:27especially young
41:28people,
41:29ano-ano mga
41:30tatlong
41:32pwede mong
41:32talagang
41:33itanim
41:35sa kanilang
41:35mga isipan,
41:37mga ganun?
41:38Siguro,
41:39one po
41:39would be
41:40ask the
41:41right people
41:42if you
41:43want some
41:44advice
41:44or you
41:45parang
41:46you're
41:47venturing
41:48into something.
41:49Kasi
41:49I know
41:51for a lot
41:51of people,
41:52there are
41:52people na
41:53go-to nila
41:54for advice.
41:55It might be
41:56just a solo
41:57person,
41:57their partner,
41:59their best friend,
42:00etc.
42:00But for a lot
42:01of decisions,
42:02actually,
42:02it's best to
42:03ask people
42:04who have an
42:05experience in
42:05that field.
42:06So,
42:06for example,
42:07na-realize
42:08ko yun,
42:08parang
42:09why am I
42:09asking
42:09business
42:10advice
42:10on people
42:11who haven't
42:11really been
42:12into business?
42:13Or why
42:13am I
42:14asking
42:14relationship
42:15advices
42:15from my
42:16friends
42:16na-single?
42:17Yung parang
42:17ganun lang ko.
42:18It doesn't
42:18make sense.
42:19They would
42:19have their
42:20opinions,
42:21but not
42:21necessarily
42:21wise advice.
42:22So,
42:23that's one.
42:24I guess,
42:24maybe you
42:24find people
42:25that might
42:26be able
42:26to mentor
42:26them or
42:27lead them
42:28to the
42:28right path.
42:29Kahit hindi
42:29tamang
42:29sagot yung
42:30mabigay,
42:30but just
42:31leading them
42:31to a
42:32better
42:32starting
42:33point is
42:34already
42:34very helpful.
42:35So,
42:35find the
42:36right
42:36people
42:36to ask
42:37your
42:37questions
42:37to.
42:38Maybe
42:38that's
42:38one.
42:39Second
42:40might
42:40be,
42:41I know
42:42this is
42:42cliche,
42:43pero just
42:43do it.
42:45It's also
42:45one thing
42:46that I
42:46have to
42:47remind
42:47myself
42:47every day
42:48that some
42:49people would
42:49even say,
42:50oh,
42:50you're doing
42:51good,
42:52you're
42:52getting
42:52good
42:53clients.
42:54So,
42:54they feel
42:55that I'm
42:55doing
42:55okay,
42:56like,
42:57very
42:57gora
42:58with
42:59decisions.
43:00But a
43:00lot of
43:01things that
43:01happen within
43:02our brand
43:03or within
43:03the business
43:04are always
43:05delayed
43:05because
43:05I'm
43:06afraid
43:06to do
43:06it.
43:08There
43:08might
43:08be
43:08some
43:09launches
43:09of the
43:10candles
43:11or
43:11schedules.
43:13Even
43:13the invitations
43:14for interviews,
43:15I've declined
43:16before because
43:16I was
43:17thinking I'm
43:17not worthy
43:18to be asked
43:19or to be
43:20interviewed
43:20or featured.
43:22But I'm
43:24realizing
43:24every time
43:25I actually
43:26let myself
43:27or trust
43:27the Lord
43:28then and
43:29the gifts
43:30that He
43:31has given
43:31me,
43:32it always
43:33comes to
43:34a point
43:34that you
43:34will realize
43:35it's not
43:35as bad
43:36as I
43:36imagined
43:36it.
43:37That's
43:37one.
43:38And it's
43:39almost
43:39always
43:40much
43:40way
43:41better
43:41than
43:42you
43:42hoped
43:43for.
43:44So
43:44allow
43:45yourself
43:46to be
43:46surprised
43:47in that
43:47way.
43:48So
43:48just
43:48do
43:48it
43:48really.
43:49Even
43:50if you
43:50fail,
43:51and this
43:52is because
43:52I'm
43:53a teacher
43:53really,
43:54for me
43:54every
43:55failure
43:55is a
43:55learning.
43:56So
43:56ito
43:57yung
43:57goal
43:57ko
43:57to
43:58ito
43:58lang
43:58yun
43:58na
43:58abot
43:59ko.
43:59The
43:59space
44:00between
44:00those
44:00two
44:01is
44:01your
44:01learning
44:02opportunities.
44:04So
44:05wala
44:05pa
44:05rin
44:06lugi,
44:06wala
44:06pa
44:06rin
44:06tapon.
44:07But
44:07again,
44:08this
44:08is
