00:06past 18 years as he revealed that the residents currently do not receive a pipeborne water supply
00:12how many days per week are you all getting water none most of the times you either
00:20um catch rain water when it don't have any rainfall you you have to depend on uh spring which which um
00:30you will have to walk to and you will also face the dangers of the wild animals like snakes etc
00:38and um if that is not the option you choose then you'll have to pay for either one of the truck
00:46the truck borne water and you'll have to pay and it'll be expensive according to nicholas residents
00:51have attempted numerous times over the past years to contact various officials however these attempts
00:56appear to have been futile they have also contacted their new mp minister of defense wayne sturge
01:02but they haven't yet been able to secure a meeting though they intend to in the near future we would
01:08have approached numerous um officials both at the sandy grande corporation we would have approached
01:16the current um councillor who would have replaced mr terry runden and yet still the the the action
01:27is very slow in coming we have been sent to numerous places numerous um officials and yet still no one
01:37seems to take the time to come and actually look at the situation nicholas says residents are now fed up
01:44of being bypassed as they see other surrounding areas being developed while they are left without
01:49basic needs such as water and electricity we are only 800 meters from the main road where you have
01:57t and tech um poles right there the water line the main is right there and yet still they would have
02:07connected areas um west of us which will be areas like um vega or approach and areas north of us which will be areas like um
02:19um suku suku trace south etc right and then we smack in the middle and we constantly being bypassed
02:31and it is frustrating he maintains that the residents do not want to have to resort to taking action but
