First look on site at TRNSMT 2025

A first look at the festival site at Glasgow Green as we prepare for TRNSMT 2025.

00:00We are on site at Transmit at Glasgow Green, getting ready for what is going to be a very

00:07sunny weekend. Behind me is the main stage. Those who are familiar with the layout here,

00:12there's not much of a difference from what it was before. You've got the King Tut stage,

00:17which is over there. There's bars in that direction. VIP is over beside the People's Palace.

00:24I like standing over that side of the main stage, mostly because you've got the view of the People's

00:28Palace in the background, and also the bar down at the bottom. It means you can queue for your

00:33drinks while still seeing the acts. This year there's going to be a dance stage that is associated

00:38with the BBC stage. There's also emerging Glasgow artists that will be down in that direction.

00:44And as you can kind of see from this perspective, we're basically surrounded by about 50 places to

00:50get different types of food. This year it's a very wide selection. There's your kind of classic

00:56pizza and noodles, but there'll be all kinds of different bars and food bits that you can get

01:03stuck into. We're expecting some secret sets, so that's something that we'll be able to give

01:08you more information about over the weekend. But yeah, a very exciting big weekend of music

01:14to continue Glasgow's Summer of Music. Here we go.
