00:00Ted, did that ever, as a highly successful professional athlete yourself, what was that feeling like the second you won it all?

00:08Was it, God, I want to win another one of these, or holy blank, this is the greatest moment of my life.

00:13Let me just sit in this and savor it for a second.

00:15Oh, no, no, no, no.

00:16You wanted more.

00:17Trust me.

00:18You get a taste of that.

00:19Oh, it is so intoxicating.

00:25And I've always said this about football.

00:27And basketball is probably similar, but they play a lot more games.

00:32But it's like 90% thankless, hardworking, nobody sees work with 10% reward.

00:40And you go, is it worth it?

00:41Yeah.

00:41Yeah, because the 10% is so intoxicating, right?

00:44You only play once a week, and then you have two weeks between the championship games and the Super Bowl.

00:51It's just you don't get many chances to prove yourself.

00:55And so when you get a chance and you play well and your team does well, it is very intoxicating.

01:01But yes, especially in this town where it meant so much, I wanted more and more.

01:05That 0-1 team was, you know, we were treated like gods.

01:08And so you wanted to go to another level.

01:11And we all realized, I think, that we had the quarterback and we had the coach.

01:16So our window to win was then.

01:19And we took advantage of it in 0-3, 0-4.

01:22In 0-2, we just didn't know what it took to defend our title.

01:26But we learned from that, and you saw what we did in 0-3, 0-4.

01:29I blame Tara Reid for 2000.

01:32Yeah, Tara.

01:33Damn it.

01:33But if you're going to go down, go down in a blaze of glory.

01:37And she was kind of our unofficial mascot.

01:40She was a lot of fun.

01:42The specific part of that clip I wanted to ask you about was how did that change after the first one versus after the second one?

01:51Did either the approach, the mindset change at all for you guys?

01:54Or did it just grow?

01:56Like, now I need another one more.

01:57You know what I think it did?

01:58It really set the bar high for anyone coming in.

02:02And it was almost like we all expected this.
