00:00Um, I would say at least like sort of three, four months. Definitely. I think like they've got it right in like Norway and places like that. They can't remember how long it is, but it's like over a year. So definitely I would say yeah, longer the better.
00:14The government is carrying out a once in a generation review of parental leave and pay to modernise the system. How much kind of time do you think new dads should be given when a baby is born?
00:25Well, yeah, I think probably the same as a woman, really, because that's the toughest time of all. You know, the mother needs as much help as she can get. So yeah, yeah, I think that would be good if you could introduce that.
00:40I mean, I would have thought surely the same as a new mother would seem fair to me. But again, I suppose as not a parent myself, yeah, not really something I've thought about.
00:55But I would have thought across the board, it should be fair for both.
