00:00let's start off with the arizona diamondbacks a team that we definitely you and i had high hopes

00:04for at the start of the season i don't think that we thought that they would dominate the division

00:08or beat the dodgers or anything like that but it hasn't gone as planned they signed corbin burns

00:13he gets hurt starting pitching hasn't been nearly what we thought it would be also uh corbin carroll

00:19has been banged up as well they're gonna have to make a decision in a couple of weeks george will

00:24the arizona diamondbacks be buyers or sellers so buy or sell the diamondbacks we're gonna go with

00:30sellers at the trade deadline at the end of the month are you buying george or are you selling

00:36this you said it's gonna be a tough choice for them because better things were expected from them

00:41as you said i don't think they ever thought they were going to beat the dodgers of a division nobody

00:45really thought that but certainly they thought they would make the playoffs right and be dangerous

00:49because you'd have burns you'd have gallon all right let's see what we can do here in a five

00:54game seven game series here all right the 12 and a half games behind the dodgers they're not winning

00:58the west all right that's done they're only four and a half games back of the wild card problem is

01:03you've got to climb over the reds cardinals giants and then at least one of the mets brewers or

01:07padres to get into that wild card here you'll probably need to make an addition right it's not so much

01:13though okay maybe we won't sell at the deadline but if you really want to compete then you have to buy

01:17at the deadline you you sort of can't stay stagnant all right you either got to go for it or or sell

01:23out here so i think there'll be a team craig yeah you got 26 days a little less than four weeks

01:27we'll take that time we'll take that time to decide here the big name we can't we keep hearing is uh

01:33suarez and he could be dealt here cubs might be interested yankees could be interested uh several

01:38of his brewers come to mind as well that could be interested in him so they'll have players to sell if

01:43they want but i think they wait till the last minute yeah this is really really tough george

01:49because when i look at the diamondbacks i mean george do you see a team that's that's poised to win

01:54in five years i see a team that's poised to win now like they just signed uh corbin burns and they have

02:01a lot of talent on this team i mean i'm gonna say i'm gonna sell them being sellers i don't know i mean

02:08i i feel like they should just stand pat and they should just go back into next year if they want to

02:13what i guess some teams call recalibrate with some end of the season free agents okay but my gosh this

02:23i i don't think this would be a great message to the fans if they were to sell after just going out

02:27and signing burns i know i know burns by the way i think out all next year right george right corbin

02:37situation and they just gave i mean jordan montgomery is out for the year too they paid him a ton of

02:41money to reach for them this year uh look i i the owner's got to be a little bit uh mad but i don't
