Himachal Pradesh – Heavy rains have caused massive destruction across the state. Two cloudbursts were reported in the Karsog area, leaving one dead and seven missing. Several vehicles were swept away, and a 16 MW power project at Bakhli Khad was completely destroyed.
The Beas river is in severe spate, triggering flood fears. As a precaution, all schools and colleges have been closed, and a state-wide alert has been issued.
