00:36to get someone of the level or I'm going to say a level but KCP who came off a good shooting season

00:43Magic last in the NBA this past season at 31.8 percent for four folks they were last by almost

00:51two percentage points like that's wild how far they're off they only made 11.2 three-pointers

00:58per game that was less by 0.6 and then you look at obviously the amount of shots they took it was

01:04also in the bottom 10 so Desmond Bain's ability to shoot the ball from three is exactly what Orlando

01:09would need to put on that roster my argument is did they give up too much listen if you talk about

01:18the Cole the Cole Anthony okay going I don't I don't mind it KCP I don't mind it to me it's the

01:24four first round picks in a one pick swap to me you either give away one now or the I'm saying like

01:31you give away more picks or the players I feel like they give up the picks and the players and I think

01:36that's my problem with the deal Tom I have no I I like what you said Magic last in the league in

01:42percentage last in the league in uh threes made per game this is filling a need that they had

01:48if the Magic are as we saw this year taking the first step to becoming a team that we believe that

01:55they can become with in an open east especially next year those picks at 20 22 24 wherever they may

02:02end up are useless I I those are those are very low value picks in my mind and and a lot of people

02:08agree it's like listen half the time players in the teens don't work out that you draft getting a

02:13player at 20 or 22 that those are project players if you have an open east you are filling a direct

02:19need that you need right now with a three-pointer and yes this does not say that the team is perfect

02:25and they have other things to work on but man I like what I like having a compliment score

02:30alongside Franz Wagner and Paulo Bancair that can just straight shoot and I don't have a problem

02:35with him going there because I think it makes sense or what they need picks for picks whatever

02:38I guess that the thing is is as a Knicks fan then people are saying well Mikel got five first

02:42it's five first rounds for Mikel now I'm not saying Mikel is better than Bain they're different players

02:47and obviously you know and Bain no Bain's better play no no Bridges is better and I really I'm gonna let

02:53you go because I have a lot to say you know because my my whole point is is if you're gonna knock

02:56Knicks for giving up five four for this guy is I think too much and you have to look at the fact

03:02that Bain has had injury concerns Bridges you know game in game out he's playing he may not play great

03:09but he's gonna play and he's gonna give you 35 minutes he's gonna give you 38 minutes a night

03:14Bain does have injury concerns Kev so all right here's the deal McCall Bridges goes for five picks

03:19the Knicks makes the conference finals and everybody still the consensus is worst trade I've ever

03:25seen worst trade I've ever seen well I don't know hold on McCall Bridges has two of the most

03:30important defensive plays in the history of Knicks basketball and they made the conference finals

03:34and McCall Bridges is going nowhere and he's better than Desmond Bain I don't really care

03:39people can argue me on that they're wrong but everybody was like no no no too many picks too many

03:43picks too many picks okay Rudy Gobert got traded from Utah to Minnesota still nobody will say a nice

03:48word about the deal back-to-back conference finals appearances also Rudy Gobert is 10 times the

03:52player Desmond Bain as Rudy Gobert is a going to the Hall of Fame I don't know if people are

03:57comfortable with that but it is true and he deserves it he is a four-time defensive player of the year

04:01yeah people slander slander slander but now we get the hipster's blockbuster deal oh the seventh seed

04:08the young Orlando Magic get Desmond Bain the third best player on the Memphis Grizzlies and it's nothing

04:15but praise and now picks don't matter hold on what well the Grizzlies are incredible at drafting

04:20so they're gonna get the 16th pick right that's about it you can pretty much guarantee that

04:24they also gave up a Phoenix Suns pick that if this team I mean I have no idea what's going on with

04:31Phoenix I have no idea what this season's going to be could end up top five by the way with the way

04:36the lottery stuff all moves around if that pick somehow lands inside the top three it's one of the

04:41worst decisions the Magic will have ever made because DeBonta and Darren Peterson or Boozer all and their

04:48projected value and ceiling is as high as possible of that freshman trio that's going in now the other

04:56picks Tom the you know ones that are supposed to be in the 20s and things okay okay fine but that's

05:02if those are in the 20s sure the Orlando Magic what they have going for them is a one-two punch who are

05:11incredibly young and seemingly talented and I understand that Franz and Paolo need shooting

05:21around them to give them an opportunity to progress to their best selves but did this team need to give

05:30up that in order to give them a level of shooting we couldn't have paid Luke Kennard we I don't understand

05:37because I don't think Orlando's win in the east next year no they have the fifth best odds of any

05:43team in the east and I think that might be kind
