00:00This is not surprising to me to see that the Magic are still fighting and still playing
00:05because I got to tell you, look, I understand it looked like they were left for dead against
00:09Boston where they didn't play in their starters, they lost.
00:13But Dexter, this team was one of the best teams in the East for about three months.
00:18So I don't think it should shock anybody that the Magic take a game or maybe two or maybe
00:24even three against Detroit.
00:25Now, they're not going anywhere long term.
00:26I get that, but they were just too talented to play as bad as they had been.
00:32My guess is maybe Detroit maybe rolls off the next four games, but this is who the Magic
00:36are.
00:36You cannot predict their results.
00:38This has been going on for months.
00:40Yeah, I mean, listen, the Magic are one of the most, I think, maybe say two or three most
00:45disappointing teams in the NBA this season.
00:48And a lot of that has to do with their over-under win total.
00:50A lot of people expected this team to be one of the top three teams in the East, probably
00:54have 50 wins.
00:55They didn't do that.
00:55I think there's a legit argument, Craig, to the point that you're making, that you
00:59can look at both of these rosters, Detroit's roster, you can look at Orlando's roster,
01:03and you can look at it and say, Orlando's got more talent than them.
01:06I don't think that's crazy to say.
01:08What we haven't seen is we haven't seen Paolo Bancaro play up to his potential.
01:12He's been really good the last two games.
01:15Franz Wagner is starting to come around.
01:16There are more guys I trust on Orlando, despite their limited offense, and you also got to add
01:23in Desmond Bain, to put the ball in the basket than I do with Detroit.
01:27Cade Cunningham, we know what he can do.
01:29We saw him do his thing with 37 points, but other guys didn't come along with him.
01:32Jalen Durbin only four shots in the game last night.
01:35Like, Dennis Jenkins, in his first playoff game, not a lot there.
01:39So Detroit kind of showed you some of the concerns that you have with them all season.
01:43But this Orlando team, you said, could they win another game?
01:46I don't think that's crazy, Craig.
01:48I don't think it's crazy at all.
01:49I think they could push this series far.
01:51I think this can go six or seven.
01:54I still have concerns with Detroit and their secondary scoring.
01:57And we wonder, with everything that's going on with Orlando, are they possibly starting
02:01to come together at the right time?
02:03Sometimes it comes together for teams late.
02:05It's just the right matchup.
02:06You're right.
02:08Orlando's got a lot of talent.
02:09They have not played to their level of what they could be.
02:12Now we're going to see if they can do it, because if they take game two, Detroit's in
02:16a lot of trouble.
