00:00The Mossad, the intelligence from Israel, their intel into Iran, you know, when we initially saw the preemptive strikes, they obviously have intelligence there and they know exactly where to strike in many respects.
00:20That's what Israel's saying. So maybe, you know, right now it's not really time for the U.S.
00:26But there's this big conversation going on at the moment that I think is really interesting.
00:31And it's about the MAGA base. And it's really that right now we're seeing for the first time a weak link when it comes to Donald Trump.
00:40You know, his closest supporters who we've seen, you know, stand by him no matter what are really divided on this issue.
00:47Mm hmm. They really are. I mean, if you look at the MAGA movement, I mean, they helped Trump win both elections, 2016 and 2024.
00:55And of course, the prospect of a U.S. strike on Iran, if Trump does decide to eventually do that, hopefully not.
01:02This has upset a lot of MAGA supporters and even his most prominent allies.
01:06So you had Steve Bannon as well. Yesterday he said, quote, we can't have another Iraq.
01:11And if you go back to Trump's campaign promises, especially from the first term, also the second term, it's always America first, America first, more isolationist policy or, I guess, mentality that he was planning to bring into especially this presidency.
01:27But of course, he's facing a lot of pressure. And let's be fair, he inherited a very, very messy geopolitical landscape.
01:35I mean, you have wars. Well, especially at the time when he took office, I mean, you had wars happening on so many fronts.
01:41You had Ukraine, Gaza, Yemen, Syria. Alliances are shifting all over the world.
01:46But then now he has Iran and Israel. And I think if he does decide to get involved without in the absence of a diplomatic deal, that could upset a lot of his supporters, which does not mean well for the Republicans keeping control of Congress in the 2026 midterm.
